... and admit their shortcomings. It's too rare but still means alot, at least to me.
It seems with age Karl's obsessive nature has tempered and he can see how his passion and flippant behavior got the best of him and limited his teams.
That being said, it means quite a bit for a coach who coached some great players to hold Carmelo in such high regard. Would be interested to see Carmelo's take.

but with Karl it’s probably the best you’re gonna get. Melo’s narrative has turned so he’s not the guy you can just pile on with cheapshots for the lulz from the mouthbreathers anymore.
Ultimately Melo never played on a team that anybody thought was championship caliber....from a b-ball standpoint , his GMs owe him an apology more than anyone else.
Karl should’ve just apologized for his public pile on at a low point comments and then KIM.

dude was suffering from migraines and depression and George wasn’t trying to hear any of it. Even admitted in his book that the team told him m but he didn’t know anything about it, so he stayed on his ass.
