"NBA Games 3.1 - 3.7.20 : Gordon Hayward is trash"
Sun Mar-01-20 03:21 PM by allStah

I don’t care if he goes on to average 40 a game. He does nothing in big Big games or in the second half of any game, but take up space. He missed bunny after bunny against the lakers and was invisible in yesterday’s game

Smart. Tatum, Brown are elite ass defenders doing everything while Kemba is out. The fact that the Celtics are this good with this dude starting tells you just how good the other 4 are.

They should have flipped his ass during the trade DL, but he is Steven’s guy....can you imagine this team with just even a simple SF like Ariza, Morris ( either twin), etc. Shit I would even take Rudy Gay or Harrison Barnes over this dude.

Shake Milton got game. No way he stays in Philly and sits behind Simmons. He is an all scorer, good defense too.

Would it be crazy to think of trading Simmons to get some serious assets back and make shake the full time PG? And with Burks off the bench as the back up? Get a SG and a star PF?

a lot more polished and deliberate with the ball then i thought he would be. so efficient and effortlessly dominant in his individual matchups.

i apologize for saying/thinking ja would clearly be the better draft pick.

zion is gonna be special if he can stay healthy (God willing).

This is crazy. Last night lebron got hoed by Memphis ..hoed

He comes and play against weak ass pelicans, and they like Lebrun is amazing , yada, LoL

It’s comical. They are really trying to keep this dude mvp relevant.

Doris is the biggest dick rider.... When they were talking about Giannis 40/20 game ..you could see the hurt inside of her.

Doris Burke talking about Lebron could still be in the mvp conversation because of his game against the weak pelicans. But yesterday he got destroyed by Memphis by 20.

And Giannis went 40/20/5 with no Middleton today and is dominating every night against all teams. She is always trying to talk him up .... when everyone knows Giannis is walking away with this hands down.

Bucks are walking through all teams! With a point differential that is record breaking. The shit they are doing and what Giannis is doing is hands down murder.

This dude is mvp and defensive player of the year, and the bucks are killer... but since Giannis is foreign and not in a major market ...

I swear if they rob this kid.. I will never watch the nba again.

No he does not. Lakers have been up and down and so has lebron. Struggling against the pelicans and getting whooped by Memphis. Bucks have those teams destroyed by halftime. Dude they beat okc by 47 points.

- 30 plus points a game is less mins than any player in nba history
- highest per in nba history
- best defensive player in the league
- best defensive team in the league
- top 3 3 point shooting team
- Highest team scoring differential in nba history
- on pace to win 70 games.

No lebron is not in the conversation ...not even close

This is possible the greatest team/player stat in history based on player and team setting Records’s

You don’t read too well.

You took that out of context. The point is that the teams that the lakers and everyone is struggling against, the Bucks are blowing them out the water. Giannis work is usually done by the 3rd quarter ,so to beat Okc the best clutch team in the nba and one of the best teams to close out games by 50 fucking points is a biggg ass deal...with no Middleton.

But clearly you didn’t understand that.

And had the lakers beaten Okc by 50 you and everyone else would be posting about it. So stop the bulllshit.

No. Not referring to that.

Doris and Colin Cowherd said that Lebron is their MVP...and clearly they just holding to holding.

Go reread it.

It was about Doris and espn, which is what I was referring to. Their being in the conversation was that he is the mvp.

Not coming in second or third or honorable mentions.

against that same Pelicans team in a loss for the Cavs, dude dropped 31 (11/20 from the field, 6/10 from 3, averaging over 20 on the season). the only two better at him at scoring from that draft class are the top 2 talents (Luka and Trae).

I think KPJ is the star in waiting, but I can't ignore what this dude is doing. that dude is an easy 20 on any given night.

Someone did the math for me:

59 games in to their second years as a pro, two guards wearing No. 2

Kyrie: 22.5 PPG, 45.2/39.1/85.5 shooting splits, 50.3% eFG%, 55.3% TS%, 33.7 points per 100 possessions

Collin: 20.1 PPG, 46.1/38.2/84.9 shooting splits, 50.6% eFG%, 55.1% TS%, 30.2 points per 100 possessions

he's as efficient as he is effective. just not GOAT-tier with the skills

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.

Porter / Sexton/ Drummond? Shittt

Garland is still trash right now though.

Move Love and wack ass Thompson ASAP. See if golden state is interested in giving up some of those picks for a big.because they need one....and love is a huge asset because he can three and rebound.

Don’t give up Easy points in the paint and can rebound. They just can’t shoot. And they get blocks and steals. They will lose . But they play hard. Their perimeter defense sucks especially on screens

Not easy for Westbrook to get in the paint to tonight.

So far they are winning.

I hate Miami and that zone bullshit. That’s how the raptors won a chip.
Play some real fucking defense, but of course they are going to be like we stopped the Greek.

If I’m the commish, this has to be changed. If you got someone like Bradley Beal dropping 50, and you gotta play zone to stop him...come on man . That’s not pro ball.

Hopefully Giannis is working with the coach on how to deal with that in PO. You know they are going to throw that on him on every trip.

I don’t want see our top stars facing that shit.. Portland did that against Tatum on some possessions.

Dallas played zone against Lebron to win a chip....and they got clowned for it, but now it’s acceptable.

But an L is an L ....bucks streak stopped.

Defense is stellar. No Lavine, dunnn or Mark.

When Valentine plays, he plays well, but Boylan refuses to give him time. This lineup is getting it done, and Coby has been outstanding even though the league refuses to notice it.

Bucks faced 22 teams more than once this season. The heat isnthe only team to beat the bucks more than once. I could make an excuse on it being a back to back. But even though they use this wall routine( zone ..lol) , it worked, and bucks got the L.

Can’t front , Middleton disappeared.

On first take on espn, now the heat are seen as a huge threat, and the east is now wide open. They were just dogging the heat last week , because they were on a huge losing streak since getting Iggy. lol.

Caris ”just cooling” Levert. Straight out the gate this dude was a monster slept on due to injuries. Once Durant gets back, these dudes are going to be monsters sans Kyrie. Pacers were stupid for trading this dude

Spencer/ Levert/Durant as a trio

Rockets vs Clippers

Clippers main issue no rim protection. Cats being able to eat in the paint. Will they be able to stop Russ in the hole?

That will be the deciding factor....clippers avenge their loss in this one .

Clippers eating these cats. Reggie Jackson really makes that backcourt more dynamic on that second unit with Lew than Shamet.

Fucking blowout by halftime.

That small ball shit. They don’t hit threes they are screwed. And clippers perimeter defense is one of the best. But Mike dantoni is so damn dumb he ain’t going to attack the paint. Most of their points have been in the paint, but nope jack up threes.

It's a low risk, high reward situation and personally I wanted Noah over Dwight (which turns out wouldnt have been as good). If it works out - it's great. But I wouldn't be so sure he's able to play. He was getting some minutes in Memphis this year and good for him getting on a contender but I dunno about this one.

Lol. That Lakers complex is showing. It’s a huge pick up because they addressed an actual need. Jackson and Morris were just luxuries. They still killed the lakers twice with harkless and Shamet.

But Noah was a former defensive player of the year as a center, plus he is a passing big. Zubok and Harrell don’t offer that. Westbrook killed them
In the paint last night and Houston was able to score in the paint in general, but Mike d is allergic to his teams taking 2s.

But getting a guy who knows defense and protecting paint , plus high IQ, for cheap is huge pickup...and if it doesn’t work it doesn’t work.

Last 29 games, shooting 42 percent from 3

Last 2 games
Shot 70 percent from 3 against Dallas 7-10
Shot 60 percent from 3 against the wolves 6-10
25/6/11 and 26/8/5

Dude will avg 20-10-7 next year. No doubt about it with that shooting . And he is already a passing and rebounding beast as a guard.

Dude he is now a lethal three point shooter... with the players he is playing with do you now how easy it is going to be for him to get dimes, and now that he can shoot?

18-20/10/ 7 next season....easily.

Now that he’s got the confidence it’s great to see. Lakers fans fucking LOVE Lonzo and I love seeing him do well. Dunno about this 20/10/7 prediction - that’s pretty rare company and his shot is weird - but he’s very good

Slow as hell.

Already in the penalty. Clean strip gets called fouls . Lopez gets knocked down by a player and gets called for a foul by being on the floor.

23 FT to lakers

7 FT to Bucks

Not a fan of that third quarter officiating. The difference in points were definitely at the line. However bucks being one of the best three point shooting teams shot like shit, but was still there.

But shit let them guard straight up especially when you got two superstars guarding each other.

Bucks just make sure to get homecourt advantage and close out the season. You already know what the media wants.

On to the next.

The main difference was Davis coming alive in the second half to drop 30 for the game . As well as lebron dropping 37 in a good game .

Giannis goes 32-12-6.

Middleton 12 points . That’s not going to cut it and will the be the reason behind them winning it or not winning it .

Lebron got that other superstar. Giannis is doing it by himself in this big games. Middleton has to be pippen.

Contender stuff? Sometimes you don’t need to reply. I think you just reply to reply, like a defensive mechanism.

I’m just stating facts. Bucks will not win it all if Middleton does not show up.

What am I scared of? And I’m here no matter if Bucks win or lose.

Unlike you and lakers fans. You guys were ghost when the Bucks beat the lakers, but show up when they win. That’s being scared and and wack.

Bucks beat the lakers in the first game and lakers won this one. As long as the bucks have home court advantage, their chances are great. But if Middleton does not show up, one man can’t do it alone, which is the difference between Lebron and Giannis.

Giannis guarded both Lebron and Davis when they had had the ball and the main guy on offense. Lebron and Davis both took turns guarding Giannis. Huge difference.

But no one is scared. I will be here, win or lose.

dude was always good at using one move, getting his shoulders squared, then going downhill to the cup when he had space on the perimeter (remember isoball bron?)

now dude is navigating that mid range area and lane in traffic and getting to the cup smoothly.

he been putting together some cold ass finishes at the rim that way.

it seems like a pretty noticeable improvement from years past.

Kellerman refers to this as "career value" - but no player has ever done more with less. I don't think it's plausible that Jordan, Kareem, Wilt or Magic could've dragged that first '07 Cavs team to the Finals - or even the '18 Cavs team that went to the Finals, sans Kyrie.

But for him to be *this* dominant in year 17, legitimately vying for MVP as either the #1 or #2 guy in the league is absurd. It's also the way he's doing it: leading the league in assists and showcasing an exceptionally high IQ and court vision in how he gets his guys involved.

Last night dude took the challenge to guard Giannis - and he actually got the best of him on *both* ends of the floor - and Giannis was gunning for him and playing his heart out.

Makes absolutely no sense.

101. "season 17."
In response to Reply # 100

that's the craziest shit about LeBron. still doing good things, sometimes doing -new- good things. even as other things decline as they do. this year feels a lot like his 2018 season where, chaotic as it was, LeBron put the best offensive performance he's put up since the 2012 Heat season.

RANGZ won't be his story, it'll be the more difficult one to tell... more like Kareem. who has the RANGZ but the other story about him is his longevity.

though I struggle to consider LeBron "a Laker" despite wearing the uniform (I consider him Cavs/Heat more than that), he is following in some footsteps set by prior Lakers. Kareem, Magic, Kobe.

but I've never seen an NBA player live up to this level of hype as I have LeBron and for it to keep paying off in the way it does is crazy.

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.

He's been maneuvering through traffic and switching directions on a dime more effectively than in past years. He's clearly been adding that to his game and put a lot of focus on this new PG role. He's also developed into one of the most deadly long-range 3 point shooters in the game. Wild.

..The intensity for this game was high from the tip and it never waned.

The Lakers started off sluggish, with Davis, McGee, & Howard in early foul trouble. Both teams struggled from the perimeter throughout the game, but unlike the previous matchup, the Lakers made the necessary adjustments and found success in the paint, with LeBron leading the charge.

With the season series now split, we'll have to wait for a possible finals match-up for the tie-breaker.

Hopefully, we'll get our answer in June.
