..as long as Dolan is at the helm, ain't shit changing.
NY continues to let that fool live tax free while wasting the largest market value in the NBA. *I'm pretty sure the city & the league could force him out (one way or the other).

the no taxes on Madison Square Garden issue is a state legislation matter, not something the city council or mayor could resolve on their own.
The Dolan clan having cable rights to Knicks games is one of the major reasons they are consistently so profitable for all these years, which is one of the major reasons why I'd think the league is somewhat hands off with the Knicks, despite the fact they have been a laughing stock for literally decades now.

I meant the state, but you get my point.

My overall point is that since the Knicks have been a financial success, the league isn't going to be too pressed to want to get rid of Dolan.
Make no mistake; I totally despise Dolan as I've watched less and less basketball these years due to the Knicks being a toxic cesspool. I personally would love to see the dude removed far away from MSG, but I don't see it happening.

normally that involved with the day to day basketball operations, it’s just the people he has put in charge have failed from the recent crew to Phil to Thibs going all the way back to Donnie Walsh and Zeke and beyond them. Dolan doesn’t seem to have a problem opening up his checkbook for anybody. He just needs to get the GM/president and coaching hire right.
-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.
