"NBA Games 2.11.20 - 2.14.20: Clippers have no answer in the paint"

Morris showing his dog already. Good stuff.

But clippers with no rim protection, get clobbered in the paint. First KAT, now Embid. Harrell and Morris are just too undersized.

Morris as good as he is wasn’t needed, Clippers not addressing that issue may cost them down the road. So easy for players to walk in the paint and score.

Philly is basically unbeatable at home

that was a statement game for Philly....

Pocket Rockets took it to Boston...

can Zion and the Pelicans make a run and make a battle with Ja and the Grizzlies for the 8th seed in the west?

Does Dame Dolla will the Blazers in?

In the east after the top 6 the rest is garbage...

Happy for the Baby Lakes who came over in the AD trade, especially Ingram. It would be a great story if Zion was able to take them over the top into the playoffs.

Aside: What do we think of Lonzo? Here's his box score stats

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/balllo01.html#per_game::none

Season Age Tm Lg Pos G GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% eFG% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS

Somehow he's managed to become a competent 3PT shooter but is now shooting *under* 40%. What's happened to him? Is he not able to get to or finish around the rim at all? His other stats are pretty good for a 20 year old, I would think. But is his flat scoring a result of NO's offense? It doesn't make sense to me.

Kevin Love didn't play. I can see that this team is defensively in a better place when he's not in the rotation.

If only Nance was a better 3 point scorer. He's almost got most of the rest INCLUDING defense.

Kevin Porter Jr is that dude

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.

Clippers and Celtics have no defense in the paint..none

But Celtics had to throw the kitchen sink and the refs to win that game. Clippers got 6 guys who were hitting big shot after big shot.

Morris, Shamet, Kawhi, Lou Williams , Harrell. ( plus George)

Shit was crazy. 6 focking closers. Crazy. Cats just hitting shots to go to overtime. That makes them so scary. No PG and Kawhi didn’t even play well.

But again clippers have no defense in the paint. None. If dock does no fix that, they are screwed. One thing the lakers have is defense all around better than the clips.

Celtics got some dogs too, but Hayward is trash ( sorry), and they rode Tatum and smart down the stretch with no Brown. Still say they should have pulled the trigger on the Hayward for Drummond trade. It’s going to hurt them.
