I’m starting to come around on my opinion of Jordan Henderson, it’s very disconcerting. I think he might actually be OK?

saw the game.

Score was due to being down to ten men. However, Hugo came up with a huge penalty save....Spurs are really lacking in talent to me, and I have no idea how Poch got this team to the CL final. Major signings are needed up front.

MC is trending down. Sergio is like 32 and he is injury prone. Jesus is inconsistent, sterling looks tired. David Silva is past his prime, and Kyle Walker is approaching 30. They will get Sane back next season, but the team needs an upgrade. KDB is the only bright spot.

Even if Arsene struggled to recycle Arsenal the third or fourth time, for them to stick, take parts of their successful teams and grow around those few linchpins when teammates either move on to a new challenge or see their motivation drop and need to be shifted is a skillset that most managers don't have.

It's also telling on the era when we're talking about Pep being "done" for failing to win the league for the third time running but also still likely to win the League Cup (I hope I'm wrong there), be at least a semifinalist in the FA Cup and a likely Champions League quarterfinalist.

Not saying they need to win the league, as this LFC squad is obviously pretty historic, but should they be scrapping around with Leicester for 2nd?

10. "Messi sends Barça board into a panic"
In response to Reply # 0

It's been widely covered because Leo does not come out and make statements about the Club leadership and board. Until now. But Eric Abidal, former Barça player and current sporting director at Barcelona said in an interview that Valverde was fired because players weren't happy with him. Leo came out in instagram and said the board isn't taking responsibility for their decisions and that if you're gonna say it was the players, then name names. Because if not, then you're throwing them all under the bus.
It was widely reported that the big names in the dressing room were very supportive of Valverde. So Leo ain't having it.
It's a big deal for a few reasons. Leo has power. More power than he's every cared to flex. There will be a board election next year (possibly sooner), and Barça could (should) be getting a new president. If Leo makes it known that he doesn't support this board, or if he backs a candidate for president, that person will certainly win. Bartomeu has to go, and should already be gone. But if Leo makes it known he wants him gone, that's the end. The other thing is that Messi's contract expires next year. So obviously the Club, the members... everyone is going to want to make sure that he stays above all other things. If Bartomeu has to go for Leo to stay, Barto is gone. It seems like Abidal might be fired over this, but his comments aren't the root of this. Our incompetent board is the root of this.

because it's time to go back to focusing on la masia and less buying tons of players. we can buy trincao for 31 mil but lose take kubo for 1 mil and the promise of some practices with the 1st team? absurd.

but I suspect it's more that he's pissed at his buddies getting implicit shots from Abidal. It all should have stayed in house, but everything's fine. this should just last for a day or two and then everyone be happy. teammates argue. ex-teammates argue.

Credit to Zidane with what he is doing. I even doubted him, be he has proven that it was more than just Ronaldo. 6 points up, players in and out due to injuries, can’t frown upon that. Hazard should return in the next match. I hope Madrid has their physio stuff together, too many injury issues with players.

Chelsea has surpassed my expectations, which was to be in the top ten. Minimal buys are needed. Just hope Frankie stops with the tinkering and toying with lineups. Pick an 11 and let them gel, regardless of the results.

They are going to move forward with an appeal against the decision, and if that decision is upheld, then they will be banned from CL play for 2 years.

That’s probably it for Pep, so let the MU rumors commence.

1 goal, assist, constantly on or around the ball. Still over dribbles and loses it, but he looked like last year’s ligue 1 player.

Ceballos doing all the dirty work in the midfield, staying on the ball and getting it forward. No more loans for this guy. Get him back in Madrid ASAP., bye bye modric.

Saint maximin is a beast on that flank. Deserves more than Newcastle, he has no help.

Saka is a great young talent. lacazette is being wasted on the bench. If you don’t want him send him to chelsea, we already have gave you Luiz and cech... pass the favor. Would love to have him and Abraham as our two solid strikers.

The level of maturity and i_fucking_belong_ness is insane at 18

Love that kid. Didn't like playing Eddie instead of my other child, Gabi, but all good.

Pepe has been good in general imo, ignoring his price tag, other than Auba and Gabi good end product per minute had been good. Just needs to keep taking back so he stays in lineup.

Excuses? What are you talking about?

We lost Christensen and Kanté in today’s game ( major defenders) , and we are forced to play old players like willian, Pedro and Giroud due to injuries to our best attacking players. Pulisic, Abraham, Odi, and we still don’t have RLC.

Plus we had two VAR calls incorrectly take away 2 goals.

And we are still in 4th place with an extremely young and new coach.

I’m going to take your reply as sarcasm and keep it moving .

Fred pushed AZp from the back, which forced him to push on martial to maintain his balance. Ref looked at VAR and didnt overturn the call, goal disallowed.

Giroud’s offside was close, but, after thinking about it, hey I’ll take that based on VAR

But the foul call was totally wrong and the ref should have changed it, and VAR clearly showed Fred pushing him into martial. That actually has nothing to do with pixels or lines, just a clear foul committed by the opposing team.

Didn’t see the Real Madrid game, but hazard was man of the match. And I caught highlights of his every touch. He looked really good, miss this dude. Won a penalty, only for Ramos to take it. How the fuck is Ramos the mandatory Pk taker?

Can’t speak on the overall match, but we dropped points.

Jovic needs seem starts. Why have this guy if we are not going to use him?
My only real gripe with Zizou.

Not sure who the best right back in the world is , Hakimi or Arnold?

Had to watch the Dortmund game on a Spanish channel. Haland is a beast. That whole front three of hazard, haland and sancho could be the best front three in the world. Still suspect in the back with that back three.

However pSG again got the away goal, even though they didn’t play well. Neymar scored and they could have gotten another one with Silva in the box. But they need to shape up that defense, gave up too much space.

Youngest american player to play and record an assist in a CL fixture.

Played well for coming on around the 70th min, blended in with the front attack. But I way too focused on the Norwegian

I don’t really know much about him , stopped worrying about the US team years ago.

Dortmund and Ajax just killing clubs with talent year after year, only to lose them all and repeat the process.

Haaland is a beast but their whole frontline was eating off the Silva buffet all game. Stil all in all we’re in a decent spot. Though I don’t really think a 1-0 win at home is a likely outcome, the way those forwards go.

Terrific win by Chelsea. Hats off to Lampard for the line up.

We had to dust of giroud and Alonso, plus we played Barkley. We get a solid win, go up by 4 points in that’ last CL spot. RLC is back on the bench! Will see time soon.

Game was pretty good. I thought it was going to be a bore fest, due to tons of injuries for both clubs. But lamps went for it.

When we swayed hazard to join chelsea and not United, it changed the fate of both clubs. Chelsea went on to be a dominating club. 2 titles in 3 years, 2 Europa league titles, FA cups. MU regressed.

The fact that chelsea passed on this guy about a year ago, and fans didn’t rate him ,will cost us. I was screaming this dude’s name way back, as well other Portugal players...because they are about to hit another golden era.

MU is going to be very very good next season.

Honestly Mou is doing a good job with what he has. You guys are 4 points off a CL spot, and need tons of replacements.

I think Harry Kane is close to being broken though...over usage plus England duty has taken its toll.

In my opinion, that whole squad needs to be replenished.

Can’t believe lacazette is still on the bench. Dude scores every time he plays. Something has to be up. Give him to us god dam it!

Crazy that Saka didn’t start either. came on due to an injury and immediately set up a goal. And now arsenal is dominating this game.

Arteta just like his teacher....too cute for his own good. He might have that trait.

Madrid season in a nutshell

1 week ago , up in table by six points, then bam, hazard comes back and breaks his foot( done for the season) , and killing in this game, then bam, down by a goal and down a man.

The true example of an up and down season. Can’t call it bad and call it good. Just what the fuck.

I have not enjoy this season of soccer at all.

In response to Reply # 0

I’m angry as fuck.

You know those players where everything is fundamentally sound. KDB was in our hands. Then Passed on Bruno. It took Drogba to convince hazard to go to chelsea. MU almost got that dude.

I see where this shit is going. Pogba comes back plus Rashford. As long as management does not do anything stupid, y’all are good.

Hopefully the kid from Ajax turns out to be a stud for us. But we got to get Malcom over the summer or someone really explosive and fundamentally sound to combat this. We have good young talented players, but no fundamentally sound players that can control like a zinidine, KDB, hazard, etc in every game.

Also, would like to vent at lampard dropping players again. We lose to Munich of course, so lampard changes the back line again. It was Fucking Munich! It was going to be an L regardless. Then he subs out Tomori in the middle of the game. Quit dropping players because of one error or one game!

To state the obvious, Vinicius is a handful on the wing

I don’t really watch real, but Mariano Diaz? Great finish as he lost his balance.

Hell of a second half from Villa; just hope we can consistently make those kinds of performances.

his awareness at 18 is special. knew what he was doing with the ball before he got it.

chelsea has been lacking what he seems to provide. awareness, proper decision making 9 times out of 10 and creativity.

Things you can’t escape.

Death
Taxes
And Ancelotti playing a 4-4-2 whether winning or losing. Biggest flaw: doesn’t make adjustments. Still love him. But damn son my team banging the shit out of Everton..too easy
