1. The reason Tim Duncan didn’t go to Orlando to play with T-Mac & Grant Hill was because Doc Rivers had a rule that wives couldn’t ride on the team plane
2. Apparently Thibs shortened another career as an assistant in Houston and ran Yao into the ground. No way he gets the Nets job.

and he said it wasn’t really an issue. He said that Tim had agreed to sign with the Magic but he wanted to talking to Pop 1 more time out of respect and Pop pulled out all the stops, flew in David Robinson from Hawaii etc.
Doc said Calipari told him at the time that he had blew because you never let them leave without signing. Also the reality was that they didn’t have the money to sign all 3 and would’ve had to make a choice if all 3 said yes and the choice probably would’ve been Tim and Grant Hill and T-Mac probably would’ve been the odd man out.
Fire since the first episode. I’d been looking for a good one for a minute. Preferably with players and real ass niggas running it as I can’t stand the geek squad on The Ringer NBA pod and shows of that nature, and a lot of the players come off corny as hell.
