Hate holiday games. They are usually blowouts and boring. Boston vs Toronto was a blowout, and this Philly game is looking like a blowout. I hope the lakers vs clippers is a lot more competitive.
Rockets vs warriors got blowout written all over it even without the holidays, and the nuggets vs pelicans. I understand the nba didn’t know it was going to be without Zion or that the warriors would be without its stars when making the schedule.
Milwaukee shooting cold as ice and philly is shooting the lights out , and they don’t even look like they have to drive to want to get back in this game. This game is over.

My man gets slapped up in the face and poked in the eye on National TV, no foul. Man got roughed up all night no foul. Then gets a tech for letting the ref know. That could have been a serious eye injury.
Not taking anything away from philly, good win. But terrible refereeing.Get Giannis off the court now, game is over. No need to risk it. Take the L. Keep it moving.

Now this is a good competitive game between the rockets and warriors. Not bad. Rockets look affected by the holiday hangover as well. Warriors taking advantage.

and we be catching some teams slippin....not making any noise on the playoffs, though. Chris has been a good soldier and he and Gallo have a nice chemistry. I just think someone is gonna come for them and Sam hasn’t completed his rebuild. Dennis is prolly worthy of a good contract, somewhere. I’d read a few weeks ago that they made Chris, Gallo, Dennis and Steve available. This team is Shai’s. Everything is gonna be built around him.

Neither team can really shoot. A lot of Bricks. I don’t think it’s a clear picture that one of these teams will get to the finals. Both teams have great defense, no easy points in the paint, so both teams have to shoot in this game. But there are bricks everywhere.
It’s going to take good shooting to get to the finals. Defense matters , but against teams that can shoot the lights out, you’re going to need more than just defense.
Clippers and lakers have already lost a hand full of games against really good shooting teams.
Lakers are shooting 41 percent. kawahi and Kuzma are only ones who are shooting well.
I would not be surprised if both teams don’t make it to the finals.

They tried, but couldn’t. Clippers were able to hit some shots down the stretch even though they didn’t look good shooting. Nothing easy inside was being allowed on either side.
You gotta hit shots when the defense is excellent.

Report is that he aggravated that groin on the Pat Bev charge. Clearly Bron wasn't at his best, and they should've fed AD in the post all night and rode him.

And the worst part is that AD wasn't even in the post to dump it into. That had to be by design. Poor design. Either Vogel or whoever is running the offense needs to demand he sits on either block or mid post and go to work.

That's a really deep team. Their closing lineup (Kawhi, PG, Pat Bev, Montrezl, Lou Will) is a force - outscored Lakers by 10 in final minutes.
Lakers took 45 threes and never got going with AD in the post, team completely collapsed in second half. LeBron's body ain't right. He didn't trust his body all night and settled for a lot of bad shots, and was favoring that groin which is bad news. He needs to sit until he gets right - may be out for a couple of weeks.
Silver lining for Lakers was Kuz, who had his best game of the year and looked like a viable third option for one of the first times all year.

He finally looked like himself, and played with a lot of balance. He was in a zone. And He looked really healthy in this game.
However, I wasn’t impressed with either team yesterday. I know it is still very early, but I see a lot of issues.....on the other the hand still have a lot of bodies they can throw at you.
Both teams played great defense, and I would say they are 1 and 2 in being the best defensive team in the league.
But offensive efficiency and shooting? Both are lacking.
