This is going to be tough for the bucks. No Bledsoe. Hill has yet to step up.
No floor general to run the offense. Bledsoe really stepped up to fill that Brogdon role.

What excuses?

Eric Bledsoe has a fractured leg..They are missing their third scoring option.

It would have been the same thing had AD not played.

You want both sides to be 100 percent healthy.

Giannis hitting three from close to center of the court. Whole squad can just shoot.

Too much offense and defense ...and too much Giannis.

Or the lack of time spent 'problem-solving' a tough defense together. The team doesn't seem comfortable playmaking outside of LeBron. Maybe that's been a symptom of the team this year but wasn't exposed because the Lakers SOS hasn't been great. (not a knock. The team doesn't set the schedule.)

Naw it was exposed .

By the raptors, clippers and heat.

Lakers are a very slow team, more of a half court offense. When they play fast, great shooting teams they can’t match up.

Plus lebron and AD are the only players that can get their own shot.

The bucks three point shooting is just too insane, and they move the ball. Their threes are off catch and shoot as oppose to what Houston does.

And they are very efficient.

Nice little run by the lakers.

These cats have to work so hard in every game.

We saw it against the heat, against the pacers, and other teams. It’s like they are always playing from behind.

Just can’t see them have any energy for the playoffs.

Refs give Giannis 2 quick fouls to let the lakers get back in.

All with Giannis on the bench.

..no excuses.

Slow & sloppy. You can't afford to be sloppy against a team like Milwaukee.

Lakers closed to within 5 pts late in the 4th (Giannis on the bench with 5 fouls) and they settled for too many outside shots instead of taking the ball to the rim.

Bench: 34-4

it ain't no more to it © the Notorious B.I.G.

Bron got a triple double in a losing effort, but Giannis was the bigger star tonight.

20. "Milwaukee caught Lakers at the end of a sluggish road trip"
In response to Reply # 0

Lakers really didn't play their best ball throughout the entire trip. They were sluggish in Orlando, got an impressive W against an undefeated (at home) Miami team - but it was closer than it should've been, played down to their competition vs. Atlanta, looked worn out (especially without AD & Kuzma) vs. a hot Indiana team, and just didn't have the juice in Milwaukee on their last leg of the trip.

3-2 road trip and their worst stretch of basketball of the season.

But we're at Christmas and they only have 5 losses. Really not much to complain about.

Especially when the Clippers are losing at home.

..Its fun watching them continue this grudge match with the Rockets.

Its not everyday that you see LouWill get ejected for trying to get at the ref. The only other time I can recall him losing his cool was that Clippers game against the Wizards (damn-near identical scenario).

Westbrook waving as Beverly was escorted off the court was hilarious.

That wasn’t on Lou. Lou had not been ejected in like years before that. That was the ref.

The same ref that ejected Lebron..another player who does not get rejected.

The ref was talking to Lou like he was a boy. And Lou was screaming you can’t talk to me like that.

No funny matter...clearly there is an issue with that ref.

that's why they got sluggish.

The Bucks stay fresh on road trips because they're younger, faster, and have depth. Just saying.

The bucks caught the lakers at a bad time?

The lakers are like 3-5 or something against winning teams.

Milwaukee would have blown them out regardless because they have they better team top to bottom.

Losses: Toronto,Clippers, Dallas, Pacers, Milwaukee ....top winning teams.

So this was no bad run. This isn’t who the lakers are. Can’t run with teams that can really score and do other great things.

And then look at those close games against losing teams.

This is true:

Bucks get spanked by the Luka-less Mavs at home,
turn around and spank the Lakers

Clips are full strength, lose at home to the Rockets

All of these things happened within days of each other

Exciting season

2 takes. The bucks lost Bledsoe a day before that game, and they hadn’t made the adjustments.

Also, it is stated that the mavs move the ball better without Luka. Close loses to heat and Boston without Luka, where they were winning in those games. They are great three point shooting team with curry, unicorn and tim jr. So they are still a good team and can win.

- Deepest bench in the league with better shooters.
- most points in the league on fastbreaks
- best three point shooting team
- top 3 on points in the paint.
- top 3 in defense
- a top 10 team in blocks and steals

Pure efficiency on both sides of the ball.

And had Giannis not gone to the bench for a lot of the second half. They would have won by 20 or more.

Dude still had like 34 points 14 rebounds 5 assists.

Lakers are good when they can use their size at a slow pace, keep the lanes closed, and control possession. But when an entire team can shoot, forcing bigs to come out and guard, leaves the paint open. And it forces the lakers to get into a 3 point shooting contest, and with Green the only one being able to be consistent from 3....that’s a bad game plan for the lakers.

Lakers need speed, better shooting and players who can get their own shot other than LB and AD.

Also I want to add the difference with this rockets team is House and Mclemore. They can give you Gordon like shooting and defense, plus athleticism. Gordon is not really athletic, so the defense is not there and Gerald Green even though highly athletic , not really a great shooter.

Westbrook has made a difference ...but the biggest difference are those two , and since Gordon went down, Houston defense has went up.

Westbrook, harden, mclemore/House, tucker, Capela ...makes for great defense and good 3 point shooting. So they no longer look like shit on defense.

Clippers/ Rockets could very well be the western conference finals.

I think the difference is

They lose without their main players on the floor.

Lou got ejected and Beverly fouled out last night l.

The other loses were mostly with Kawhi on load management. And Paul wasn’t available for the first five games I believe.

I do agree with you though... something isn’t right with them all together. I can’t put my finger on it. And Kawhi doesn’t look right.

Lou Williams got ejected with 11 mins in the 4th. And Beverly fouled out.

That’s possibly 10-20 points points gone from one quarter, considering Lou scores like crazy in the second half.

Just saying.. clippers haven’t been spanked like the lakers when fully loaded.

We have seen the lakers get blown off the court by the clippers , the raptors ( without lowry), and then the bucks dominated them last night.

That’s the difference.

With 4 players who score 19 points or more on the squad....there are no worries until the playoffs.

In the last 3 games, Lakers didn't have AD for one, missed Kuz for the other - and were without LeBron for the third.

In fact - with Bradley (starting PG) being out for weeks, Rondo being injured intermittently, Kuz being out for extended time, and AD missing a few games - the Lakers haven't had a fluid starting lineup all season.

But all that matters is that Lou Williams got ejected late in the game which apparently was the landslide of all landslides lol.

I agree. He just does not look right. Even his gate looks off.

But I guess this is the only way he can play. They are going to manage it.

We don’t even know what kind of knee issue he has, just that it is a knee or hamstring issue.

He is smart dude. His camp is keeping that shit undisclosed.

He can still get his shot , because he is a cerebral player.
And he is more explosive after a night off. So maybe this is how the rest of his career has to play out so he can stay on the court.

Or maybe he is playing possum until the playoffs....you never know.

I have yet to see them play a bad game without him.

This fucking team can flat out shoot. i see why they beat the bucks. They came out striking 3s like crazy. And Seth is almost as good as his god damn brother with the 3

Philly has no real shooters

I’m sorry I just don’t see lakers or Philly being able to bang threes like that....Dallas rocked the lakers hard and now they are rocking philly.

kleva , curry, Tim jr, unicorn ..can all get their own shot and stroke the three.
And they move the ball....where with Luka , he is ball dominant.

Everybody eats

breaking up?

I still like kawahi, but Giannis is mVP. That’s the truth. I don’t follow players just to follow players for an agenda. If someone is balling ,then someone is balling. I watch all games and all players.

But as everyone knows I hate the lakers and I’m not a lebron guy. I’m a Chicago Bulls fan, but they suck right now, the bucks are the closest to Chicago in the east, so I root for them....and I like the east over the west.

But I follow all of basketball as well as soccer and football.
