just replying to yall hyperbole which at least to me would be a little funny if didn't come off as serious opinion.
>You know it’s actually possible to appreciate the greatness >of both MJ & LeBron, right?
lol absolutely. can you ease off the awkward comparisons to make one individual way bigger than he is tho?
> >>i'm not even feeling like debating this > >Yet here you are.
yep. apparently can't help it.
> >>let me just leave this here: >>- no player ever did anything just by himself to win in this >>league. > >Of course. Nobody knows that better than LeBron - who has >dragged more deficient teams to the Finals than any of his >peers. Nobody wins multiple titles in this league without >being surrounded by ATG talent - and nobody does more with >less than LeBron James. Both things can be (and are) true. > >>- i know it completely doesn't fit your narrative, but maybe >>the cavs weren't that bad. and the warriors not that good. > >Lol where’s the evidence and facts to back up this baseless, >hallow statement? > >Literally nobody has ever made the claim that those Cavs teams >were better than they appeared. Why? Evidence. When Bron >left those teams, they went from Title contenders to lottery >bottom feeders.
evidence and facts? lol @ the irony. btw, context makes things interesting and usually more "true". it's usually missing in those dumb goat debates and it for sure is missing in the points being made here...
> >>- lebron calling himself the goat (something most of all the >>other all time greats don't do) > >Ever heard of a guy named Muhammad Ali? Nah, me neither.
lol my overall point was more directed at you being amazed about the expactions but of course you focus on that jab lol. see me saying "most"?
btw, difference between ali and bron here? imo ali spoke in an entertaining MC way. the self-aggrandizing was meant to be over the top and entertaining at the same time. bron? great player, great accomplishments, but himself too caught up in a goat debate and corny self-serious myth making. only thing missing was strings in the background. not entirely his fault, as the media has been looking for the next jordan and hyping up players to be the heirs since the early 90s. i don't even mind you digging that tho as long as i'm free to express that i think that shit is corny and over the top.
there's another major difference between ali and bron but that's besides the point and i don't want to get called out here for not being educated enough on foreign affairs...
>>- jordan was 40 and came back to the non contending wizards >>after being retired for the second time. >>nice try tho. > >Jordan was 38 (you might want to brush up on your facts, out >here skewing data like your boy Trump who you oddly brought >into this).
LOL you really got me here buddy! my point was, mj was 40 playing on the sucky wizards with shot knees coming out of retirement. right, in late 2001 mj was approaching 39. obviously that's much different, not at all like being 40. sorry for me skewing data, my bad!!!
i'm a little amused how you present your over the top opinion as facts without any humor or irony (maybe i'm missing it? if so, my bad). hence the #45 comparison. and that's why i cared to reply. imo important in our times even tho we all have better things to do. for real, have a good day!
