Even before today, I knew we had no shot in Columbus, mainly because of Clifford. But today exposed something else. Penn State has feasted on an easy schedule. Our toughest game was either Michigan or at Iowa, and both of those were nail biters. We were living on borrowed time.

He stepped out of bounds on his own, so he couldn’t re-establish being inbound. No flag for being pushed out of bounds before the ball arrived so it was only one call to make.
It’s like the tv referee stated it should have been ruled an incomplete pass.
