Yes. I did. Cutler had some great games and great moments for the bears, and it was even talked about in Chicago sports circles how his play and mood could be related to his medical condition. The guy didn't find out that he had diabetes until he was 25, and before the diagnosis he was having weight issues, etc. There is a story about what he went through and what he had to go through in order to have optimal performances for each game. And he has type 1 diabetes which is the worse kind. Pancreas produces zero insulin.
I have family members with diabetes, and they have health moments that affect their mood and daily activities, especially if their sugar level gets too low.
So I could somewhat understand Cutler's up and downs, which went all the way back to his days in college. He has always been an up and down player on every level, win some, lose some, look really good, then look really, really bad. To me, that's not just the sign of a bad QB who does not care or who isn't good. His health condition could have attributed to that.....So he kinda gets a pass from me.
With Joe, he just seems to always be disinterested like he does not even want to be there. As if he can't wait to be somewhere else, no urgency, no enthusiasm whatsoever. It does not even seem to be about winning or losing to him. It just appears that he wants to be somewhere else and just wants to get each game over with.
