Keeping game manager ass jake fromm over fields is a huge indictment of the Kirby regime. I can also completely understand fields transfer now. When you know you’re better than the starter, why would you sit?

Fields never should've committed to UGA in the first place so that's on him.

Urban pulled the same shit with JT/Haskins. The difference in the OSU situation is that Urban didn't have to invite JT back for a 5th year. He could've went with the younger, better player with zero repercussions.

I think Kirby was in a more difficult spot.

Everybody in the world knew exactly what Fromm was going into the season: a game manager who would never be the reason you won.
