I have not really placed any bets since playing FanDual. I like the fact I can do multiple team entries per sport to win. I win more consistently than betting, but nothing big. Even though sports betting is now legal in my state, sports betting places haven’t been built yet, still got to go out to the casinos ( which I have never done) . So betting online is still the way, but withdrawing is still mad shakey, even with the cryptocurrency route. I can’t wait to be able withdraw and deposit straight to my bank, no crypto, etc. I know DraftKings has a special betting app/book that handles this. But I don’t like to have accounts all over the place.
— I entered 4 different teams for Rays vs Astros game at 5 cents an entry, pot is 10,000.
— Put in 4 different teams for pats vs gmen 0.25 cents an entry, pot is 20000 ( note: I have never won any big money from fandual. It’s just fun as hell and you can build up the money that you win)
Don’t know when I will place bets again. I just don’t like the hassle of moving money, but I still paper play the spreads:
My take on the games: ( just predictions. All of it could go wrong)
Pats vs gmen : Pats ML, Giants cover +17, Over 42 ( might be low scoring, but i see something like 30-18 )
Panthers -2 cover and ML . Under 48 ( panthers have the number 4 pass defense, Bucs have the number 2 run defense)
Bengals vs Ravens : Ravens -11 cover ,plus the Over 48 . Bengals are ass, and Afternoon games are rarely trap games. Plus they are playing in Baltimore. This one could get very ugly.
Seattle vs Browns ( I hate this game , very tricky): Browns have a decent defense, but there offensive line sucks. Seattle is top 15 in run and passing defense, so the Browns might no be able to run or pass. However, they are playing in Cleveland and and Seattle is a 1.5 point favorite. That’s basically giving them points. So why is so much respect given to the Browns? Not buying that it is going to be that close.
Seattle cover, over 47
