"OKP Survivor XV{15}: THE PRESEASON POST"
Ok, so NBA preseason starts 9/30 and the regular season starts 10/22 (6 days later than last year) so we'll get started to make sure we land well by seasons start.
Agenda items: 1-League setup and communication 2-League roster 3-Draft (and Debts) 4-Payment
League setup, communication and growth: Your team names are all the same (feel free to change them), the divisions are already set.
Any other suggestions for this season (keep in mind, we only have a few weeks to sort it out though so let's try to keep it reasonable)?
League Roster: 1-RBO 2-Ernie 3-Boogs 4-Deputy Commish 5-Commish 6-DVS 7-Shawn 8-Mr. Hood 9-Theo 10-Merf 11-Magilla 12-Ceej 13-Ryan 14-DJR 15-cGonz00zz ($85 in debt) 16-Basa 17-LABeat ($85 in debt but was offered a hardship waiver, his call to accept or not) 18-TJT

Draft: I'm planning for the second weekend in October (10/11 through 10/16). Weekend will have a longer time limit (shorter than last yr though) and that Monday will have the "speed" draft time limit we've been doing. Again, the idea is that we can finish all or most of the draft over the weekend. We won't have a ton of time to adjust so we'll need to settle on a day time if my plan doesn't work for everyone. Please let me know.
Payment: -Entry fee: $60 Payout- $60 Highest Avg, $60 best record $240 for the runner up $600 for the winner -Payment is due by Friday, October 18th and 11:59pm EST. -Paypal to: paypal.me/auraginboi or emystery@yahoo.com -Late payment penalty schedule:
Missed Oct deadline date = $4 No payment by Nov 30th = $4 No payment by Dec 31st = $4 No payment by Jan 31st = $4 No payment by Feb 28/29th = $4 No payment by Mar 31st = $4 No payment until the entire season is over = $25 total penalty
This would make the fee $85 at seasons end ($60 entry plus $25 penalty). All penalty money will go towards the pot and any additional monies would go to the winner in whole (no split for runner up).

I think we have about 10-11 confirmed so far and I think most will return (16 at minimum).
So with a few of you already stating a 10/11 is a inconvenient weekend, I'm proposing an alternative draft schedule.
Wednesday 10/16 through Monday 10/21. Will look something like we did last year but tweaked:
Wednesday, 10/16 @ Noon EST: Timed draft starts Noon-5pm EST, 15 min time limit 5pm EST clock off
Thursday, 10/17 @ Noon EST: Timed draft starts Noon-5pm EST, 15 min time limit 5pm EST clock off
Friday, 10/18 @ Noon EST: Timed draft starts Noon-5pm EST, 15 min time limit 5pm EST clock off
Saturday-Sunday, 10/19-10/20: 1 hour time limit over the weekend Clock will start at 11am EST and turn off at 9pm EST all weekend So basically, you have to pay attention to the draft until 8:01pm EST each day to avoid being skipped
Monday (if necessary), 10/21 @ Noon EST: Timed draft starts 1 hour live draft, 5 min time limit 1pm-5pm EST 15 min time limit 5pm EST clock off
^^^As the NBA season starts on 10/22, we would have to finish on Monday.

Your B-day on the other hand? Better check your phone between bites of cake and sips of henny. I mean, it's YOUR b-day, shouldn't you be able to spend part of it nursing a draft? Amiright?
I'll be at Treebones Resort in Big Sur Tues-Thursday that week, so I won't even have access to the internet those days because nature.
So I'll have to either all contingency draft or you can count me out this year (as long as I can come back next year if I'm not flexing on this league again) ----------- you think we playing chess, but i'm playing mad-making. Basaglia

Is there WiFi at Treebones? We offer free wireless satellite internet in the lodge. Satellite internet will not support streaming /downloading of videos, or skype / FaceTime. Although satellite internet does typically allow for email and social media, it can some times be spotty so please come prepared to unplug as much as possible. In the case of an emergency, front desk personnel can be reached 7:30am-10:00pm at (805) 927-2390
Be ready to draft! lol
Have a contingency list and at least be able to respond to texts. hahaha
