Scout-y type writers have been talking about Kumar Rocker for years and years now, but Vanderbilt signees don't (almost as a rule) break their commitment for big draft dollars. So he's went from weirdly on the radar for a younger high schooler due to his ability and the fact that he's an utterly enormous human being to weirdly off the radar because for the next year at least (not sure on his birthday) he's purely a college pitcher.
Eyebrow raise at that 130 pitches, but it seems safe to assume that Tim Corbin knows what he's doing. Price, Minor, Beede, Gray, Buehler, Wright, and Carson Fullmer all leap to mind and they've had realy careers - not just big draft bonuses. Must be a nice thing to be able to tell kids and their parents.

I didn't realize that. Either way, except for Vanderbilt, there's an expectation that top-of-first-round money will get anybody to skip school.
