His play calling on offense is weak. Mcvay uses way too many passing plays Goff can’t carry your team. CJ Anderson was killin it and they under used him in the Saints game and the Super Bowl. They completely gave up on Todd Gurley smh. Gurley was dealing with injuries but if he out there saying he’s ready to go you gotta give him more of a role than what they used him for. I don’t even know who the tight end is. There’s no balance in that offense. That loss to the Bears was pretty much the end for them. The Saints just played way too conservative in that nfc championship game.

if not for count em TWO touchdown drops by Cooks they might of won.
P.S.
Basa said Brandin Cooks was better than OBJ.
P.P.S.
Look at The Rams record b4 Sean McVay, mind you they had the same roster at core players.

the Rams went from No More 7-9 Bullshit to the Super Bowl. with the addition of a coach and a few free agent vet defenders.
the stuff with Gurley might be the most mysterious question in the history of the universe, but there is something there the public doesn't know. or the Pats figured out how they use Gurley and took him away, like they've been doing for the past 2 decades.

Look at Goff. He was shit playing for Fisher with no OL and no weapons. He's mostly very good playing for McVay with a good OL and weapons. It's the same player, no difference in talent, no difference in ability. But good coaching, a good supporting cast, and an easy schedule can take a 63.6 passer and make him a 101.1 passer.
The problem is when your good coach goes up against the GOAT coach and gets completely out-schemed you're going to lose a lot of that luster. That would be true for like 25 other QBs in the NFL. They go the way of the coach and supporting cast.
McVay is a good coach, but like so many other coaches he was too hesitant to go away from his plan and that's why they lost. That's one of the reasons Belichick--despite being a cheating scumbag--is the GOAT: no coach in the league is more willing to break tendencies and use radically different strategies on a game by game or even drive by drive basis.

It’s cool when you have the same qb for 2 decades. You can look him in the face, say ‘2006’, he’ll know what you mean, and bang. You can add plays in the hotel lobby on gameday. No problem. You can, like you said, go drive by drive. A bunch of coaches can’t do that with the assclown they have playing qb for them.

Not fox Not andy Not coughlin Not ol boy in Atlanta and Kyle Shanahan Not Pete carroll And certainly not Doug da Gawd.
Martz got that work, but we know he was a lousy head coach. Other than that, the Pats have never controlled an offense like they did the rams, and the rams had a lot more talent on offense than a lot of these teams.
So, yeah, given the fellatio McVay has received, I’m very willing to short his stock. Maybe he goes to the hall of fame, but I doubt it. Let’s see what he does now that the salary cap is coming for the organization.

if posted 2 weeks ago as a quick reaction I'd get it more.
All the teams that hired his clones may be scared now but think the Rams are okay. Of course he and the Rams would have looked better had the officials not fucked up and Saints won that game. lol

A guy that motivated can only stand to improve from an L that embarrassing
If you look at his body of work with just quarterbacks specifically...hell that alone should make him a potential Hall of Fame candidate (JOKE). McVay made Kirk Cousins a 4,000 yard passing franchise QB and took Jared Goff to the Super Bowl. He’s doing something right

they should be running the ball more, if not with gurley then with someone.
but in this game they got down and had to throw. any time you turn the ball over four times and it leads to four scores, you're going to get fucking killed.
i think they've looked kinda suspect even in their wins but i am not writing them off yet. could easily win 10+ games and make the playoffs. i wasn't one to buy into the preseason hype with them so that wouldn't be a disappointment to me, that's about where i think they are.
