That's like essentially the next Scorer vs Versatile player matchup in the mold of Bird/Magic, Grant/Dog, Melo/Bron,.

It might come much sooner. He might be better by the end of the season.

And the C's are already very good. You add another top pick and/or allstar vet and Hayward's return next year. Smh...If the Sixers can figure out what to do with Fultz (and he actually pans out...not certain that happens) and Mil can keep Jabari on the court, develop Maker and Brogdan some more and maybe add one more good to allstar player...those 3 teams will rule the East once Bron retires or goes west (or maybe sooner).

Man, I envy Celtics fans cause...Danny Ainge.

The Wiz need a lil something more. Oubre might be it. Porter's coming along but I still think they are 1 piece away.

We'll see how much noise they make in the playoffs this year. They get to the ECF and I'll put them in the convo too.

who's "next" in the east after Lebron leaves and obviously Boston is already up there but people like to put teams like Milwaukee and Philly who's isn't anywhere close to being a playoff team ahead of the Wizards.

I agree with you that even with the All-Star backcourt I feel like they need something more.

Some people will be in their feelings about this but I'm not really a Wall fan. I still feel like too often he's more concerned with getting his than running the team. At times they seem to play better offensively without him. Running a team doesn't necessarily mean dominating the ball but some point guards struggling with finding that balance.

his value is in his speed, handle and athletic ability. He hasn't grown enough to know how to play off the ball (or at least not enough to try to be comfortable with it). The good thing is he's a willing passer.

I just think they need one more good/allstar caliber player to really push that elite level. Oubre has been improving so he's their best bet without a FA or a high draft pick.

Him and Porter are the key to if they challenge the other teams.

And I don't really like Gortat for that roster.

Freak athlete, plays all over the floor, scores, creates, defends.

He is better but Tatum looks first-team all-rookie, nice start for him and seizing the opportunity with Hayward out.
