""We were a bunch of Draymond's" - Story on the "We Believe" Dubs (LINK)"
Story by Ric Bucher for Bleacher Report about the '06-'07 team. Seems like it started as a piece about Barnes return to GS, but grew from there.
Some REALLY interesting tidbits in there, some of which I didn't know.
Most notable: The Warriors ***almost*** traded for still in his prime KG after the '06-'07 season. It would been a three-way trade where the Dubs got Garnett, the Bobcats got Richardson, and the Wolves got picks and young players. Then-Dub's owner Cohan dragged his feet and balked, so the Dubs traded J-Rich for the Brandan Wright pick instead.
Anyway, the "We Believe" is still one of my favorite teams ever.

I never knew that.
I think anyone that survived through all those years of the dubs being the league's bottom feeders can agree this one small run made those 12 years worth it. This team is one of my favorite teams ever as well, in all sports.

I don't think I ever knew they plexiglassed over it though.

Why I always say that after suffering through all those years before "We Believe" and all the years until their resurgance, you can't tell me shit for stanning for this team. I've seen fire and I've seen rain, dammit.
