Someone needs to tell the guy who carried her off that a person's health is more important than rushing to get the game started back up, fucking idiot.

he made a bad decision but my guess is he was genuinely trying to help.
at first i thought he was one of the male cheerleaders but then on replay i saw he had a headset on so I don't know who he was or wtf he was doing there.

He might just be one of those Shawn Marion types. Shit will look gross forever, but it'll go in.
Still, his FT% is alarmingly low. Reminiscent of Justise Winslow's college stats-- beautiful 3-point percentage, low free throw percentage. But Ball is shooting 3s more often than Winslow by a good amount-- damn near 6 a game, compared to Winslow's a little over 3-- so maybe the FT% is the fluky thing here, not the 3P%.
Or maybe he's someone whose FT% will come down to Earth as a pro, but he'll still live for the big moment and sink the ones that count. I'm sure GMs wouldn't mind that trade-off either.

He didn't *really* shoot that well in the Kentucky game-- he just made shots when they needed them. Which is a huge and valuable factor, obviously.
The free throw shooting is what holds me back from full belief in the J. And his ability to shoot 40% from 3 is a *huge* factor in the rankings of the PGs in the draft.
It doesn't help that the Pac-12 doesn't have any NBA-caliber PGs to see him match up against (except for Fultz, who's stuck in such a shit-show that he might as well have sat the whole season out), so the only game we have with him against a future pro PG (or anything close to it) is the game against DeAaron Fox-- and I honestly thought Fox out-played Ball in that game, it was everywhere else that UK got out-matched (Leaf, in particular).

And Justise's and a lot of other prospects like Ingram (not to just pick on Duke guys) is a lot of those guys were hitting stuff right at the college 3 which is different from the NBA. I hate how NBA scouting acts like that should be a direct correlation. It has been for some players, but the science/analytics there is spotty.
Lonzo has demonstrated a clear ability to hit from NBA range pretty consistently right now.
I agree Fox was slightly better in the UK game overall, but it wasnt miles ahead.
FT is a weird issue. Hope he fixes it. He did shoot 80% in HS so dont know if its the different arenas or what, but its the same 15 ft shot in HS and college.
I really like the nuances in his game. The fact that he'll be a leader for a team right away, and just his understanding of the game I think is only really evident if you watch him for a full game. How he plays away from the ball and how he interacts with teamates. Its not easy quantifiable, but in his case I dont think his IQ is overblown. I was skeptical going into the season, but once I watched games I understood the hype.
Whats pissing me off most is this talk about his shot getting blocked. Every reddit post about him talks about his shot getting blocked. That shit is the absolutely dumbest shit ive ever read.
If 5'3 mugsy bogues didnt have a problem getting his shot blocked at a higher rate than other players in NBA history, Lonzo will not have an issue with having his shot blocked.
Talk about his lack of midrange and his issues finishing around the paint or his punchable face. Those are all real issues. Dont tell me his shot is gonna get blocked a lot.
