game of the week early. contrary to my predictions of their postseason demise, Washington wins and they're in the playoff.
MAC Championship (17) Western Michigan vs. Ohio
PJ Fleck looking add a NY6 bowl to his resume before he leaves for another job this offseason.
Saturday SEC Championship (1) Alabama vs. (15) Florida
will be a bloodbath. Florida's offense (114th nationally) was completely inept against Georgia, Arkansas, LSU and Florida State. you ain't beating bama by playing defense and hoping for some breaks.
Big 11 Championship (6) Wisconsin vs. (7) Penn State
Rose Bowl on the line, so it matters, but it's weird how much of an afterthought this game feels.
ACC Championship (3) Clemson vs. (23) Virginia Tech
Hokies play some defense (18th nationally) so another Clemson turnover-fest could make this interesting. whenever the Tigers have been in a close game or lost, it's been because Watson was throwing picks (10 interceptions against FSU, Louisville, NC State, Auburn and Pitt).
Big 12 Championship (sort of) (9) Oklahoma vs. (10) Oklahoma State
Sooners still can't stop anybody, but their offense went on a run because they got to play Big 12 defenses again. should be a shootout.
AAC Championship (19) Navy vs. Temple
Navy could jump Western Michigan for a NY6 bowl, but it's sort of a hard sell with two losses on their tab.

Also, i really wish we could adapt some of their tempo/playcalling at the line. We dont even have a chance to audible when tge balls is constantly being snapped with 3 or less on the play clock.

Navy WR's running wide open in the Temple secondary. I know it goes against their m.o., but you gotta exploit weaknesses and take what the defense is giving you.

Seriously, some of these 5 star recruits should be ashamed. Go to some of these other SEC schools and try to beat Bama instead of jumps by on the Dream Team.
SEC is Bama and the Bammettes.
and for the love of god why are SEC quarterbacks so garbage? If half these squads had decent QB's who went downfield instead of all these damn bubble screens maybe they could give Bama a run.

incredible poise to close the half and fight back in the 2nd half. McSorley was a boss tonight.
Don't care if PSU makes the playoffs. Just excited for the chip and opportunity for a Rose Bowl win and top 5 finish. That would be absurd given the low expectations everyone had for this team. Don't care what Mich/OSU fans have to say, they know they want nothing to do with this PSU team right now.
