The Texas defense and secondary got away with a blatant PI that turned into an interception for Texas. Texas secondary did give up a 70+ TD pass right before halftime and haven't played well since that TD.

Its not a gimmick offense, and Nieumatololo is an elite coach. Id like to replace Paul Johnson with him when the day comes to inject younger blood into roster continuity, but Im afraid some other mid level Power 5 school is going to finally use their brain and snatch him up first. A school like Minnesota or Kansas St would be lucky to have him and Nebraska was stupid for not giving him carte blanche 2 years ago.
Navy is going to be a problem as long as he is there. Navy runs the offense considerably better than we do, and his players would run thru a brick wall for him.

As someone who has played this sport and has coached for numerous years, not to mention has watched Navy in person multiple times, I'm quite aware of how the triple option works. Your post is odd bc it assumes I don't know how their offense operates. Quite condescending and unnecessary.
Not sure why it's so difficult to admit that Houston played a horrible game and that their defense especially was not well prepared. Navy's, along with GTech and other service academies triple option offense is difficult to stop, but hardly unstoppable. Just a week earlier Air Force held Navy to just 50 yards of offense. On Saturday there were a ton of missed tackles, poor angles, and players out of position. Hats off to Navy, but Houston shit the bed.

that fourth quarter was ridiculous. ASU scored 31 points i think. Manny Wilkins got hurt in the USC game that allowed it to turn into a blowout, and tonight against UCLA should also be bad.
