Rangers got the Astros for 8 in a row so far this year, after winning 8 in a row at one point last year. 8-0 in 2016 and 13-6 in 2005. That is basically the difference in their record right now.

Both teams are stocked with exciting players and a bunch of personalities.

if a pitcher is going to throw at batters, then the batter needs to charge the mound, and fuck that pitcher up. i guarantee, you throw a ball at me, i'm swinging the bat at you. you gonna do something foul that could kill me, i'm gonna do the same to you.

People hate Machado and Ventura because they talk too much for no reason. Way too early in their careers they were doing this. Remember when Machado threw his bat on a swing at Josh Donaldson who was standing all the way at 3B. Smh. He has matured since then but it's only been a year since that incident so we'll see. I agree with what he did cause Ventura is a moron, he's always talking shit when he's struggling. But I grinned when he got beamed lol

People hate Joey Bats because he hits home runs lol. A lot of them. Guys who consistently hit over 40 homers a bunch of season in their career are always allowed to celebrate. It just is what it is. Big Papi, Bonds, these guys all watch the ball. A lot of this generation forget that, they only feel like they are getting showed up.

with a guy KNOWN to throw at people. Do i think Ventura was throwing at Machado the previous at bat...No. Not by his reaction. Do i think he throws at people intentionally. HANDS DOWN. And when he hit Machado he did that....just not when Machado was initially mad at. He chirped back and challenged Ventura...who is never one to back down at being a pussy and throwing at someone. So he did.

and many players supported him doing so. Manny was right to chirp. Yordano was pissed he was getting lit up so he acted like a child. Bush league. Ventura should have got 30 games for his clear intention and past history. He misses one start.

I'm not defending Ventura I hate that guy. But look at his reaction to the first or second one, he looks away like he was pissed the ball got away. I can't call it on the other one but I don't think he was throwing at him that first at bat. Usually when he does he's looking straight at the batter LOOOOOKING for that reaction. He stares people down all the time when he's trying to start a fight. He didn't do that till after Machado got the hit and was pissed talking to him.

Ventura was like cool, u thought i was throwing at you and cuoldnt hit you. And like the bitch he is, he did it.

I wouldnt have been surprised if Manny was looking for that fight. Found his reason and got it. I'm glad he did. But both of these guys have growing up to do. Manny got better especially since he's becoming an elite player, but he still has that self entitled shit in him

I followed Kyle Lewis very closely this year because of ties to Mercer and he seems to be slipping a bit below where some people had thought he might go.

Nats took two light hitting athletic OFs in the second round last year. I wasn't excited about either. The LSU kid is doing alright. Just made the Carolina League All-Star roster. Better than 2014 first round pick Erick Fedde also in Potomac.

Rizzo's draft resume is looking less and less rosy as time goes on. I don't think that he should get any real credit for Strasburg and Harper. On the other hand, he gets major credit for Jordan Zimmermann. After that he's got Rendon, Espinosa, and Derek Norris. Giolito should be a stud, but that feels light for a 10 year window.

yes, i know. and the announcers made it perfectly clear. tell it to the fans who booed him w/out context.

i actually thought it was a contrarian boss move, given the b-ball buzz sweeping the bay area right now. klay in a dodger hat getting booed loudly by a giants fanbase consisting largely of transplants who've never spent anytime in so-cal/LA, but still hate 'cause it's groupthink fashionista to do so, is where my LOL moment comes in...

you'll see the same dipshits cheering for the nigga on monday night.

you've lived here so you know.... it's just that insufferable of an identity crisis right now.... sports, tech and otherwise.

i wish the golden handcuffs weren't so tight around my wrists.

Really happy for him. He's always been an easy dude to root for, and coming back this year after the injuries and going to rehab last year, it's been great to watch.

Hopefully he stays healthy and pitches the whole year. He's not gonna keep an ERA around 0.70, or whatever it's been over the last month and a half, of course, but I'd love to see him pitch well for a whole year.

his hitting is ridiculous
his arm as mentioned ridiculous

hes dreadfully slow (i swear he has the slowest homerun trot for someone not named big papi) yet somehow still has good range in the outfield.

I knew Mazara was hitting but good god, that was one of the best outfield assists I've ever seen, made even more awesome by it ending the game.

28 1/3 scoreless consecutive innings over 4 starts of 6+ innings, with 3 or fewer hits per game.

Jake Arrieta accomplished the same feat over last 3 of last year and his first start this year, but all of Fulmer's have come in 2016.

Dombrowski's final gift.

Rebuild to success to trying desperately to sustain success - and then started the new rebuild. I can't imagine that he didn't think that it was time to try something new himself.

he wasn't even on my radar smh.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Pitching as advertised lately, he's nearly unhittable it's fun to watch.

What isn't fun to watch you may ask? The Snakes winning 14 home games, only better than the fucking Braves! GREAT.
