It's one thing when you bring up facts and then respect when others bring up facts as well, that's an honest conversation with both sides actually being open to new information. If you look at FILF's back and forths, he will bring up things but then always try to finagle, have selective context, and never be willing to admit being wrong when someone brings up a valid retort. It's dishonest discourse (that's 98% of OKS though, just using his name as an example bc that's the topic at hand) and why I chose to stop wasting my time in trying to have actual discussions w him and limit thoughtful responding to a handful of posters.

What type of dude hates on Steph? That's unamerican hate right there. Dude said their attempt at this record isn't true. The vast majority of us would gladly take this Warrior team's performance this year over our respective teams. No angle exists to hate this team from.
It would be one thing if one them refused to get a haircut like Jimmy Butler during his earlier years but everyone apparently cares about how they represent the team in interviews.

A "consecutive home regular-season games" winning streak is less impressive than a "consecutive home games" winning streak, period. The second is the more important record and doesn't rely on a technicality.
Also, the ESPN basketball guys have gone overboard with their "If you don't think the Ws are winning the title, you don't understand basketball" schtick. When GSW beat the Spurs earlier this year and Steph put Kawhi on skates, the Amin Elhassan etc narrative was "Not even the great Kawhi can check Steph!" When Kawhi locked up Steph last match-up, the narrative was, "This was just one game, anyone can have a bad game, you need to look at the whole body of work..." Not very consistent.
