Signing day is coming...things are hot and heavy right now...
just to share this with y'all...
next week I have a 12 player signing day going down... it's crazy... for years we had a goal of a 10 player signing day.... now that we are surpassing that it's pretty amazing man... That along with us being the first LA city team in 99 years to win a California state title....Monday schools could start offering underclassmen...
yesterday Syracuse offered 4 of our guys...3 juniors and a sophomore...
bout to head over to the football office to see who is here today..
Football: Four Narbonne players offered by Syracuse

Coming off a win in the state Division IA bowl game and a City Section Division I championship, Narbonne is learning that it's still loaded with talent.
Coach Manuel Douglas said that Syracuse has offered juniors Kameron Denmark (running back), Dominic Peterson (linebacker) and Anthony Pandy (defensive end), plus sophomore Raymond Scott (linebacker).
Running back Sean Riley is scheduled to sign with Syracuse next week.
Scott also has offers from Oregon State and Boston College.

The highest-profile prospect still considering Arkansas is 5-star cornerback Kristian Fulton from Metairie, Louisiana. LSU is the clear favorite for him, especially considering his father is known to be a huge Tigers fan and is active on LSU message boards. Fulton did visit Fayetteville last weekend and has apparently convinced his father to let the Arkansas coaches come for an in-home visit that was most recently scheduled for today (Thursday). It's been a fluid situation so we'll see how that visit shakes out.
^^^ basically there is zero chance, but its pretty cool the kid actually is showing interest. Hogs are recruiting *decently*, including getting the number 1 RB out of Texas, Devwah Whaley. the #1 WR out of Texas is committed to Houston, but reports say he had a great visit in Arky and he's also visiting Florida this week.
If Belly gets the #1rb & wr out of Texas?!?!?! sheeeeeeiiiiiiit.... although, i wouldnt mind seeing some more defenders. snagging a 5 star DE helps big time.
im liking what im seeing out of the Hogs. losing to fucking Toledo and TTech still hurts but they finished very strong. just praying to Allah that Allens little brother doesnt win the job in the spring. Brandon had a hell of a career there but was more tumultuous than a bridge in a Indiana Jones movie.

Durkin, hired away from Michigan, where he was defensive coordinator, had to be feeling good about his first recruiting class, given that it featured two local stars: quarterback Dwayne Haskins and linebacker Keandre Jones. Haskins spoke of "DMV" (D.C.-Maryland-Virginia) pride and pledged to be part of "The Movement" — a push to get local stars to stay home.
Then Meyer made his move, flipping Haskins and Jones to scarlet and gray.

notice how during ESPN's signing day coverage when they cut to OSU and u saw Meyer overseeing winter conditioning? I'd bet my bottom dollar that was no accident.
We have 3 guys.... Lewis Citizen... Cedric Byrd....and Joel Savea all 3 with offers from Western New Mexico but it looks like all 3 are likely to wait to see how things hash out with other schools after today..
The big one we're waiting for is WR Devaughn Cooper... around 1pm he's going to announce whether it's Syracuse...Arizona or Arizona state..

after he decommitted from USC, I figured UCLA would be in the drivers seat, but then Bama went hard on him..
either way...he comes in with a good chance to start right away... and we needed that with Jack gone...
in the back of my mind though..he went to North Torrance High..obviously I'm biased but they're not a super power in the area.... we've tried to get them on Narbonne's schedule for years but they completely avoid playing us. I bring that up because even though he's the #1 OLB in the country in this class...he wasn't playing against as dynamic offenses had he went to another area school... so I need to see more of him because sometimes that #1 spot is inflated...

He almost completely overhauled the class. He's clearly established a lot of connections in his travels as a coach if he's in on California kids. I was hoping he'd get Cooper too! Can't wait to see Babers' offense in a Dome environment in a few years.

If he ends up being as good as even the most modest of projections would indicate, it's a huge upgrade. In the spread heavy era of college football, it's just so important to have elite d-lineman. Big weapon to be used against OSU.
Also, I think any question of Harbaugh's interest in or skill at recruiting is now officially put to rest. This dude is in it for the long haul.

The opportunity was there, but Wake's depth chart is probably thinner than ours. There are a bunch of guys at all those spots for us, its just that none are proven.
