Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns has made an excellent first impression on many during his debut year, including Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant, who sees legendary status in his future.
"He's going to be a Hall of Famer in this league," Durant said, per Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press.
While Towns certainly has a long way to go, the 20-year-old No. 1 overall pick is well on his way with averages of 15.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game as perhaps the front-runner for the Rookie of the Year Award.

besides just being consistent, what areas of his game does he need to improve on?
-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Nothing is going to breathe anymore. Declarations need to be made ROOKIE season. Either busts or HOF. Nothing to be said of having a prosperous NBA career.

The guys on the roster have huge holes in their game due to age. Young guys can score, but can't defend to save their life (Zach, Bazz, Dieng). Old(er) guys are good defenders, but can't score (KG, Prince, Rubio). Can't really shoot threes and the guys who can won't take them for some reason (Bjelly and Zach). Can't really post up either (Wiggins is more iso oriented now, Towns too young and can be outmuscled). They have athletes who can run, but they not very good on defensive glass and the wings don't really pass on the break. So it goes.
