There are a lot of guys I want to put on here like Sharman, Hornacek, Gervin, Barry, King, Ellis, Mullin, Pierce, et al but there are only 10 spots. Probably the biggest omission was Peja, but it came down to him against Mark Price.

I could see an argument for him over Petro. Jordan is a tough one, I think many people wouldn't have him on their list but his mid-range game was sublime and he had this way of squaring his shoulders from any angle that was singular. Miller for accuracy and coldness I think has to make it, I was not much for his HOF candidacy but narrowing it to shooting, yeah, he belongs there.

curry was too much of a specialist for me. the otehr four i thought about, especially rice and pierce. pierce was sort of under the radar but jesus what a shooter. i remember when he made like 100 foul shots in a row.

The Rifleman was another guy I thought of but I don't think he was top 10. Tracy Murray was another guy I thought about kinda but too much of a specialist.

And to top if off, no one on any of these lists has a jump shot with that big ass arc like Walter...his shot was a big ass rainbow and would be nothing but net.

and Mullin is absolutely top 10...he murdered everybody in the Big East and I thought he was too slow to survive the NBA and then he went and did the same thing.

The guy can shoot off the dribble, used to terrorize teams from mid-range & wanted to take the big shots. He shot better than 40% from 3 & 47% overall for 3 straight season as an undersized/unatheltic shooting guard.
He doesn't get credit for replacing Nash without missing a beat. The Dirk/Terry PnP was a nightmare in crunch time.

Ben Gordon at his peak was basically the Andrew Tony of his era. He's the only players in NBA history to make 9 threes in a row without a miss in two different games.
I bring up Ben/JET b/c they have done it BOTH in the regular season/playoffs in pressure situations (Klay is disqualified & Bibby was a better pressure shooter than Peja):
