Holm obviously has good stand-up technique, but I almost feel as if Ronda lost this tonight. He stand-up didn't look so piss poor as it did tonight and Holm didn't look nearly as good in her prior UFC fights as she did tonight. I wonder if Ronda and/or training partners didn't take Holm seriously.

Her hands are garbage and all you gotta do is find someone who has legit stand up. Is she a good fighter? Yes. As amazed as I am that Ronda lost, I'm almost as stunned at how winded she was after that first round. I'm almost of the belief she believed her hype and undertrained for this match. That's inexcusable for someone of Ronda's level.

Holm fought an amazing fight with a spectacular game plan. She took away Ronda strength and capitalized hard. I doubt Ronda underestimated Holm, but I've never seen Holm fight that well before. Holm just had the superior strategy. Immediate rematch is the understatement of the year.

Fights are dangerous. If you come out there acting invincible and someone has a good enough plan and skillset to make you prove it, you could mess around and get ktfo'd. Talented or not, old girl ain't beyond that. Rousey messed around and got ktfo. If she's good forreal, she'll learn from it, come back, and make everyone a gang of money in the rematch. And the third match.
The way she got ko'd, I buy that she had to go get looked at.
