“You just try to shoot every shot the same. As long as my elbow is pointed at the rim I feel like it has a great chance to go in. I learned that from Kobe Bryant. If you get a good look at it and your elbow is pointed at the rim, then it has a great chance of going in."

Kyrie didn't grow up one of those awkward suburban
black kids because daddy and god daddy dragged his
little snot nosed ass to play with Jaquan and nem
in Soundview every summer

And that around the rim shit is New York guard shit

We can chastise Kemba all we want to (I don't, since
Kemba is having an excellent career), but we have to admit:

Kemba makes the most of his gifts, and is ALL talent
born from playing in New York city. You don't see any
little wimpy guards like that from Cali doing anything.

So I'm gonna gone ahead and grab some of dem 'Rie shares

Now I'll ADMIT-

That shot?

Ain't shit New York about that. Nothing about it.

Not quite, but something like that.

To these girls, that he black make it better that he's Hawaiian.

Different discussion, but Kyrie can claim what he want.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I seen it when I first seen him play live in the Jordan Brand game. He gets a NYC crowd cheering off handles and layups. I said it on here. "He's like Strickland, but with range not as good as a passer."

Your volume of posting doesn't mean I didn't say it bro.

Like I said, you made it make sense to me. Cuz I just thought he was a regular kid that played on NY playgrounds. I had no clue of their relationship.

Might as well hand me a Rubix cube and set the timer to 15 seconds.

If you did, you did bro. It's no big deal. I know you check for these dudes early.

I didn't watch him before then, and didn't see you post it. So we must've came to that conclusion separately.

My guy Briscoe reminds me of a big bodied Kyrie. Not as good of a shooter. But I dig the tight handles and finishes.

The records spin

And so did guards, with the ball in their hands,

They leap, often not explosively, but artfully and
purposefully

Defenders approach, arms extended in every direction,

Like a swarm of mantises so many that their appendages
block the sun

The flora and fauna starve and suffocate

But the NYC guard origamies the ball gently through
the labyrinth of wiry arms, some with cheap ink art
embedded on the biceps tendon and beyond

And the ball dances through

With the urban-ized English of the art form there born,

And the billiard English of the New York post

The ball greets the fading red square on the white
backboard

And speaks to her

Says "hello"

"I am happy you exist"

"I am happy you exist"

their meeting is transient

For the orange sphere kisses her in departure

And descends into the abyss

Newton takes over, at 9.81 m/s^2

through the rim it goes

in the land where only point gods know

Sincerely,

Everything goes back to them Knicks teams when I first started watching hoops. Rod, Mark Jackson, Pat and Pitino. Get it?

It all goes back to those teams and how I got into hoops and Pitino.

Sidebar: I was at baggage check 2 months ago in Philly and the USF team was waiting including Rod and Hurricane Antigua.

a.) Yes

b.) I dunno. Alomar is pretty steep. And no to Clemente. He might be on par with Beltran though.

He'll probably go down as the best Puerto Rican basketball player ever. Because it'll be difficult to catch him and his numbers.

I don't hate Melo. I just think he has the ability to be an all-timer. In that special room with Bird, Magic, and Kobe.

what a luxury it is to have a 2nd wheel with superstar potential.

KyKy is setting records en route to big victories. Last year, Wade was on the bench
day-dreaming about Bron carrying him to another title.

Miami can't even solidify an 8th seed.

oh how things chaaaaaange.

In response to Reply # 23

a YOUNG Kyrie doing what he thought Wade would be doing as 1-2 punch but then Wade's precipitous decline I think made Bron realize Spo/Riles we're going to wear him out while tryng to rest Wade's aching knees...

Now, Bron has a dude in Kyrie ridin shotgun who can take over the wheel (or "the bus") anytime need be which can extend Lebron's career maybe just a tad bit more than had he stayed in Miami...

Bron is more Magic than anything so fuck that comparison. Show me some clips of Bron taking up most of the shot clock dribbling the air out the ball on to drive to the paint for a heavily contested shot.

Bron is all of the things AI wasn't. HOW DARE YOU BESMIRCH THE KING WITH THIS BLASPHEMY.

FOH

He took Slava Medvedenko to the finals

Pau hadn't won a game in the playoffs until he played with Kobe

Trevor Ariza could not shoot when he got to LA. Kobe literally taught him. Now he's a top tier 3 and D guy.

How has Sasha "The Machine" Vujacic fared without Kobe?

Jordan Farmar and DJ Mbenga have two rings because of Kobe

Meanwhile, Bron has future HOFer Kevin Love txting Bosh like "you were right....this is some bullsh t"

How much he has helped their game and kept them honest. Another example, T-Mac mentioned him by name in his retirement press release.

You'll never get anyone on here to speak positively of it though.
