falcao was the only bright spot.

do you see anything in wilson? even januzaj showed flashes. wilson looks flat out ordinary.

he lacks creativity and touch though, IMO.

i don't think much of him. not sure why he keeps getting a run out.

Valencia was doing find and once he came out for Wilson we started getting more exposed even with Villa down to 10.

i don't think RVP/Falcao/Rooney works. But, I guess w/ Fellaini out and no one to fill in that was a tactical decision. I would have put Herrera in for Fellaini and kept Rooney/RVP.

in fact, despite the goal i'm not sure Falcao is gona work at all. still needs more time, obviously, but i just don't see much when he's on the field...not for United anyway.

i missed why they put Blackett in. was that a tactical switch? i really dislike that guy.

so they moved carrick up to CM and put blackett in instead of mcnair for flexibility to move him to LB later i guess.

herrera was sick so i don't think he was even on the bench.

falcao was great today despite the garbage he had to work with. put his only shot on target. 94% pass completion. his movement is just on a different wavelength to everyone else. they need to catch up instead of passing sideways and backwards.

Skrtel starts 2 yards deeper than the rest, easy header. Funniest part is he had just had a similar opening 2 minutes later on the exact same corner setup. Garbage

Liverpool overloads the near-side zone and Chambers is late to realize that he has to pickup Skrtel.

poor set piece defending by both teams leading to two of the goals, passes consistently not reaching their targets and attacks dying out in midfield, sloppy tackles and inconsistent officiating (borini gets a red card and flamini only the yellow). each team had one nice goal though.

First he threw a hissy fit over a call and slammed the ball...easy yellow.

Second, high cleat...easy call. Rodgers knew it, didn't say a word.

Game was def sloppy and all in all, a fair result...but when you're up a goal and man with 15 total mins to play, you have to win that game. At the bare minimum, make the opposition earn the goal...but we've been giving away sloppy goals all season so it's no surprise. Liverpool ran that same exact set the corner before and it resulted in a Skrtel free header that he missed; pretty much sums up our defense that on the subsequent corner, the exact same thing happened with no recognition from the backline.

They have ZERO fuckin' leadership form within & they don't hold each other accountable whatsoever. They need to sign an asshole who isn't afraid to make folks uncomfortable in the locker-room.

Need a leader, ideally a holding mid with teeth, who can settle the game and the team by taking them by the scruff of the neck. As it stands, it's the same ole issues week in and week out.

Cheap ass Wenger is probably going to get priced out by the Devils.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/mats-hummels-wants-arsenal-move-4593600

Arsenal are expected to move for Germany World Cup winner Mats Hummels in January - with Borussia Dortmund fearing the centre-back is ready to leave.

Hummels is valued at £30million and is also a target for Manchester United but sources in Germany believe the player would prefer a move to the Emirates.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is desperate to sign a central defender in the mid-season window, with cheaper options such as Aston Villa’s Ron Vlaar and Celtic’s Virgil Van Dijk also on his radar.

But, as first revealed in Sunday Mirror Sport in August, Wenger has asked to be kept informed of any developments regarding 25-year-old Hummels, who is is currently sidelined by a foot injury.

United remain interested in the German defender but are more likely to tie up a deal for Vlaar.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

and he's not even that good, but the gap between him and the rest is so wide that I have zero faith in us doing anything when he's out.

At least Debuchy I have some confidence in, Mert is a fk'n joke... nice guy but that's it.

Agree on the general sentiment of lack of any grit. Also they look dead on their feet, not good considering we are about to play every other day for the next couple of weeks. What happened to Welbeck? I know his skills are lacking but I was loving his wrk rate, that's gone now too
