"rondo to dallas?!"

ummmmmm yeah. that would be pretty major.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12045409/rajon-rondo-subject-boston-celtics-dallas-mavericks-trade-talks

The Boston Celtics, after years of flirting with potential Rajon Rondo deals, are in substantive discussions on a trade that would send Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN.com that the Celtics and Mavericks have been discussing a swap that would furnish Boston with multiple draft picks -- including at least one future first-rounder -- as well as blossoming Mavericks center Brandan Wright and other players needed to make the salary-cap math work.

Sources say the Celtics also have been talking to teams such as the Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets about potential Rondo deals, but that the most advanced discussions have been with Dallas.

Because Rondo is in the final year of his current contract, sources say any team that can come to terms on a trade with Boston likely will request permission to confer with Rondo and his representatives to get Rondo's input on the destination, giving them a level of influence into where he might be dealt.

Rondo shrugged off the latest trade talk Wednesday night after Boston's 109-92 win over the Orlando Magic.

"(Trade talk has been) a way of life since I've been here," he said. "It's just part of it."

Rondo, while maintaining that his preference is to continue his career in Boston, has left little doubt in recent months that he intends to test the market as a free agent in July as opposed to signing an extension with the Celtics. However, sources say that Dallas, amid growing concern about its point guard play and sensing the opportunity to acquire a top-flight player it has coveted for some time, is confident it could win over Rondo for the long term if trade terms can be finalized with the Celtics.

If a trade comes to fruition, Rondo would join Dirk Nowitzki, Monta Ellis, Tyson Chandler and Chandler Parsons in a high-octane starting five.

The risk for Dallas, of course, is that Rondo could leave town in free agency in the summer if he is determined to move on or can't come to terms on a new deal with the Mavericks. That scenario could burn the veteran-laden Mavs, given the multiple quality assets they would have to sacrifice to get him.

It remains to be seen whether Celtics general manager Danny Ainge will continue to try to shop for offers or jump on the assets Dallas is offering in exchange for the mercurial point guard, knowing that he could leave Boston in the summer without the Celtics receiving any compensation.

Although the Celtics have been insisting since the season began that they aren't actively looking to move Rondo, Dallas and Houston are among the teams that have been chasing him for some time. It's believed that the Mavericks are pressing the issue earlier than expected in the season to give Rondo more time to settle in.

The Mavericks began the season with the challenge of integrating two new major pieces in Parsons and the returning Chandler, but concerns have developed through the first quarter of the season about the lack of a top-flight floor leader and shot creator to set up the many weapons at the disposal of coach Rick Carlisle.

Information from ESPNBoston.com's Chris Forsberg contributed to this report.

Nelson is supposed to be a stopgap PG until they trade for Rondo & Felton was a bad contract they acquired as part of the Tyson trade.

Brandan is lethal in the high PnR (via lobs) & can jump like a pogo stick but dude can't even play extended minutes. Plus, he happens to be a mediocre post defender not to mention has no post game nor a jump-shot. He's no different than the likes of JJ Hickson except he has endurance issues ala Yao. They are better off developing Suclly/Olynyk/Zeller as part of their future front-court lineup.

If a team is looking for a backup PF then Lavoy Allen can be had for cheap (late 1st rd pick) plus he's younger than Brandan thus it's not like he has less potential.

As far as the Celtics, the perfect trade partner would be the Kings since they can offer a couple of young players & high draft picks. For example, Nik Stauskas would be the perfect "Great White Hope" for Celtics nation. Just imagine Stauskas & Olynyk developing into one of the better duos in the league, shyt will have white folks reminiscing about Bird/McHale. Rondo will also be more than happy to play the role of a 'jazz conductor' as long as it helps increase his assist totals not to mention he will be playing alongside a UK alum.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

Any team that gets Rondo is improving, obviously. But I'm not sure Houston's improvement wouldn't be less than the average team because Harden already functions as a super efficient point guard.

When they needed to lock a team down, though, a lineup with Dwight, Beverly, and Rondo could do it, though.

Use him kind of like Pierce was used. Save some miles on James. Because the way they've been playing hasn't translated to Playoff success.

in that situation, i actually would love to see Harden get a little Ray Allen action going. set the pick on Rondo's man, pop to the 3 point lane, and let it fly.

put a stretch four who can D up and shoot, they become terrifying.

as for depth, you should use that in morey agenda. if he's the wonder kid people like me insist he is, it should show up most in his ability to identify freely available talent, and there are always guys available who, in the right situation, can be rotation guys on a title team. the fact that the rockets bench kinda sucks is a legit L that morey and his acolytes like me have to eat.

I agree for the most part Bev is fine and I love him. Addin Rondo at this point is more of a defensive move

Were fine at 4 if Terrence Jones can play. Pairing him with him and Dmo is a great 1-2 punch for guys on rookie deals

How is that a knock on Morey?

He found Beverley in Russia. He has a number of 2nd round picks hes cultivated through the dleague.

Papa is hurt
Tjones is hurt
Beverley been hurt most the season.
Dwight been hurt half the season.

No team is gonna have a good bench with the injuries weve endured this season.

Moreys biggest critique right today is still not firing Kevin Mchale

I agree somewhat with your thinking on this...Howard would BEAST with Rondo.....But it would be tough getting that ball out of Harden's hands....Still an interesting pick....

The two other teams I think would be better for Rondo are Sacramento and the Knicks....

Sacramento is a no brainer. Big Cuz would go nuts playing with Rondo and Rudy and others would no longer have to work so hard to get their shots....That team is on the edge to something impressive....

As for the Knicks, I know it's a shit-show and Boston would hate to trade with their rivals...But Rondo could drastically shape up that team....They would still need another scorer but u get the idea....

in the shortterm. In the long term its us cause we have a younger star to pair with him.

Carlisle's offense and Rondo zipping the ball around would be great. Pick and pop to Dirk, Tyson pnr alleyoops, Parsons and Monta on the wing.

Dallas has more offensive weopons to hide rondo with.

With that said, Fuck dallas and Houston needs to do whatever they can to block that deal just so Dallas doesnt get him.

Word is we want Dragic over Rondo now. Stupid.

rick's the best offensive technician in the L. he'd know exactly how to maximize rondo's potential to do what he does best.

i'd love to see dude back in a situation where he's the 4th or 5th scoring option, and can just kick back and do his thing.

Like you I balked at the return but for a guy who's slowed some, missed action, is getting older and will be a UFA, I don't know what they were going to get.

I thought they could have squeezed another junky draft pick out of it but I guess the competition was that weak. Maybe Wright is a "given the minutes" guy, I could see that, but it's not a sure thing.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

If it actually goes through, wow.

Chandler
Dirk
Parsons
Monta
Rondo

Damn. Good enough to contend, I'm not sure, but really fucking good.

I'm glad the Lakers didn't trade for him though - rather try to snag him in FAgency than give up what little assets we have.

"contender" is a pretty meaningless word, but the Mavs already have an elite offense and they would conceivably be starting three out of five guys who already have rings. It's not insane to suggest they're a threat in the post-season.

You have: CP3, Wall, Lillard, Russ, Parker, Lowry, Curry, Kyrie, Rose

Then you have Dragic, Bledsoe, Rondo, Conley battling for the last spot. And I think guys like Teague are playing at a level that could replace Rondo for 2/3's the price and half the price if he gets the next max deal.

If Rondo is fired up, the Mavs could be a dangerous team. But he wasn't really adding much to the Celtics and seemed to be getting more issues (like his recent fear of shooting, probably tied to his inability to shoot free throws).

It's probably best for Rondo and the Celtics to part ways. He could put himself right back in the conversation of best PGs in Dallas; he was playing himself into "How much does Rondo really help a team win?" mode in Beantown.

In response to Reply # 36

And he wasn't recruiting any stars to play with the Celtics. They needed two stars and really had no way to land either of them. And Rondo is a third star who plays the most loaded position in the league so giving him the max in the hopes that he can recruit someone is a mistake.

They should have traded him a year or two ago so they weren't stuck with dealing him on his expiring deal which killed his value (and reportedly helped nix a Rondo for McLemore deal on draft night).

I wouldn't be stunned if Brandon Wright was packaged with Jeff Green to land another first round pick. (I could see Wright and Green to Golden State; David Lee elsewhere with the C's getting the third team's #1.)

if they move lee or iggy, it'll be for cap relief. they're looking at a HUGE tax bill next season once they resign draymond. jeff green's got a 9.4M player option for 15-16 that he's sure to pick up.

With the new cap coming in and his not wanting to be a year older when looking for a new deal, there's little chance he picks that up. Someone will overpay him or, at the very least, Golden State will be able to dump him to someone with cap space or a trade exception.

He hoped that the perfect storm would hit and he could pull another Ray/KG off season but the deals weren't there or prospects weren't Big All level and Rondo wasn't as good as The Truth. We're starting from scratch now and praying the Nets implode in the coming years to give UA multiple lotto picks.

this is simple shit, ainge has been trying to trade his in-decline ass for a long time and now he has to do it or face losing him for nothing.

you're talking about rondo like he is chris paul or even himself five years ago. he's not.

ainge is going to get back into the asset management business and try to build the team from the same sort of nothingness he built the big-three team out of.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

cuz he has to have someone in his pocket to draw in big names. That was how he did it before. One name drew another name which ultimately drew KG. If he manages to rebuild this to a good team I'll trust in Ainge like Belichick.

Are you trying to assert that Pierce's presence is what landed them Allen and Garnett in trades? That makes no sense, neither player requested to go to Boston or even waived a no-trade clause as I recall.

He had a clear vision that said assets were always positive and that cap space was overrated. He tried to make it click a number of different ways, pursuing a lot of different stars on the market (Iverson, Boozer, et al). Things just fell into place for him that offseason that two guys were available and he had the contracts/assets to make it work.

I think this notion of a star drawing other stars is false. There is only one guy in the league proven to have that kind of magnetism. Arguably there are a handful (five-ish). Rajon Rondo was never that kind of player. To say that that kind of player has to be the cornerstone for any rebuild is just inaccurate, plus it puts in a way that makes a generational talent seem easy to find.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

I still think it's a good deal for Dallas.

I mean, sure Dirk and Chandler have lost a step since then but not TOO much, then you add Monta/Parsons/Rondo, and that's GOTTA be better than Matrix/Stevenson/Kidd.

If Dirk goes 2011 on us and just goes apeshit in the playoffs....yeesh

and the step that Dirk has lost is considerable compared to that team, although there's definitely a case for the fact that the increased offensive IQ of the team as a unit makes them more dangerous.

and I guess Monta kinda overlaps with JET, but I remember JET having a Van Exel-esque hot hand that really put them over in some key moments when Dirk needed a hand. Monta can penetrate at will, but he doesn't have that streak outside shot that can really break open a run.

I mean yeah of course he was more crucial than Stevenson but just trying to compare apples to apples. Kinda dumb now that I look at it. Jet was the 6th man, or am I totally wrong?

Anyway, I'd say Jet was as crucial to that title as anyone in that starting lineup outside of Dirk. Especially in that comeback game in the finals.

and I remember JET being a perfect example of the type of SG that can be soooooo key in the playoffs. This Dallas team is impressive, but I wouldn't draw a line straight back to the 2011 team because it seems just slightly different style-wise.

Rondo won't be Kidd because Kidd was actually shooting 3s back then.
Monta's devastating penetration is a totally new wrinkle.
Dirk is undeniably older.
Tyson is still strong, but he was beastly back then.
Parsons might be someone we remember after the postseason, might be for all the wrong reasons, too.

But yeah, Carlisle is still there. An elite offense is still there. An imperfect, but intelligent defense is still there. Three out of their five starters can be game-winners on their own (Rondo / Monta / Dirk) so they're definitely a threat.

Peja was the difference against the Lakers in Gm 3 after he made it rain in the 4th quarter then buried them in Gm 4 along w/ JET. He also had a flashback game against the Blazers. He filled in admirably for Butler in the first 2 rounds before he was essential shelved in favor of Stevenson b/c of match-up issues.

I usually put on the TNT / ESPN / NBAtv games when they're on, but I don't usually watch all 48 minutes. And it's been too much Lakers / Cavs / Knicks or whatever else, which doesn't help.

This Mavs team has a deeper bench than in 2011? Yeah, news to me...

Adding Rondo to this team magnifies the addition because they are getting back a superior player who complements the other parts of the team and Rick Carlisle will get through to Rondo with his coaching and he'll push the Mavs very deep in the play-offs.

Big win this for the Mavs.

And Baron was the clear alpha during that time, Baron's run in that '07 year was actually a bit underrated historically because he got paid, fat and checked out again immediately after that.

There is really no similarities between him and Rondo as players to even make that comparison.

Ellis has played with other guys who like the ball in their hands and this move lets them let Ellis cook when he's hot and play off the ball more to try and get some more efficient scoring when he's not.

I don't think it's an ideal fit but I don't see a big clash either. Both guys will get touches and you have to figure there won't be too many times where both are off the floor at once, leaving one guy on and one guy off fairly often.

The big question marks here to me are if Dallas has enough bigs and if Rondo stays healthy.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Tho obviously I'm sure you're happy that he got gifted to a team actually capable of being competive so that they don't have to rely on whatever it was Rondo was doing while *leading* this Celtic team.

since your every post usually traces back to some UK fan agenda-fied source.

But not only do I know that ain't true as Rondo been continually proving ever since you made that Wildcat-font pronouncement, my points above were completely independent of any of that while you replied with the hurt of that baggage.

go back and check who was the one cysing Rondo at UK when he helped me win the Player Pool, said the C's got a steal in the year he was drafted and named my Blowhard fantasy team for him during his rookie year before he became a weed-carrier for three Hall of Famers.

That was all me and if you don't know, you can ask somebody.

I've always been cool with Rondo, you just happen to default to the other person being mad when giving a sober assessment of a Kentucky player in the NBA, meanwhile I have nothing against him, Cal, or UK nor ever have if you were actually able to process these posts about one of your own through a prism that allowed for any level of objectivity.

I just happen to have no reason to be completely unrealistic about the kid's career and ability.

And like I'm ever going to 'prove' to you of all people that Mo Cheeks was better than Rondo.

You didn't watch Mo Cheeks.

And if you've been watching Rondo the past two years, the tears are more than likely your own.

So keep pretending any of that discounts what I said in my OG response in here that got you all hot & bothered.

like I said I guess I do the deal if I'm Dallas because despite their early start they prolly aren't a legit contender come spring anyway and their team is old, however there's a reason Boston needed to deal him and took what they took for him.

With last season's injury I guess they mighta missed their window to trade him to a dumb, desperate team like last year's Knicks.

There's a reason the Celtics fell the fuck off when he became their best player.

But oh, they beat the Sixers in the second round in seven games after Rose got hurt that one year!

Whoopty-Damn-Do.

He never was and never will be more than the fourth best player on a team actually capable of winning.

That being said, obviously I would make the trade if I'm The Mavs because Dirk is near the end and they gave up a poo-poo platter to make it happen.

But do I actually believe the Mavs are a title team due to acquiring Rondo?

No, not really.

Rondo right today though? Ehhhhhh. We'll see if this upgrade pays off, to me they lost frontcourt depth for a slight upgrade at a position where they were kind of deep already. Rondo is not going to do for them what Kidd did IMO, but if he comes close they will be in good shape.

I feel bad for Jameer Nelson. He was playing good ball on fair terms for a contender-ish team, now he is stuck in Boston.

and that he's never been a true difference-maker in that he could be a guy capable of carrying a team anywhere or even be the third best player on a great team.

I frankly don't see how any of that is an arguable position if you're being remotely objective about it.

Again, I'd have done the deal if I were Dallas, and I think an engaged Rondo is still a very good player. But to pretend this is a no-brain win for D is silly. There's substantial risk here, at least in terms of production.

In response to Reply # 136

I know he doesnt try hard in some reg season games. And hes temperamental.

But I also know he can flirt with a triple double every night. Hes the best passing pg in the league and one of the best ever. And hes one of the smartest players in the league. And one of the most competitive.

But most importantly, if I need a big game to win, im taking Rondo over EVERYBODY who plays pg.

-Where was he in the 4th quarters of 2008 Finals when Eddie House/Cassell were taking his minutes?
-Where was he in the 2009 ECF Gm 7 when he was being checked by Rafer?
-Where was he in the 4th quarter of the 2010 Finals when his coach didn't even trust him during crunch time?
-He was out of service in the 2011 vs. Heat so that is it for him as far as his postseason big game career goes aside from 2012.

You can't claim to be a big game player when the opposition is daring you to shoot in Game 7 of the NBA Finals & you happen to be a point guard. I'm taking Steph/Russy over any point guard if it's Game 7 of the Finals along w/ Top5/CP3 before I even consider Ronda.

2008 Finals he didnt play big mins in 3 games. And they lost 2. So theres that.

2009 he almost averaged a triple double for the entire playoffs.

2010 he balled in close out games vs Miami, Cle, and Game 7 of the Finals.

2011 balled in a close out vs the Knicks and had his arm broken after that

And we know what he did in 2012.

So just stop.

>2008 Finals he didnt play big mins in 3 games. And they lost
>2. So theres that.
We all know he was waving towels when Eddie House was digging the team out of the hole that Ronda dug.

>2009 he almost averaged a triple double for the entire
>playoffs.
Except he disappeared in Gm 7 of the ECF against Jameer's backup. Not to mention that rookie D-Rose kept farting in his mouth thus Eddie House had to YET AGAIN rescue the ship in the 4th quarter of Gm 7 vs. the Bulls.

>2010 he balled in close out games vs Miami, Cle, and Game 7 of
>the Finals.
LoL @ bringing up Gm 7 of the Finals when he responsible for running the offense of a team that put forth quiet possibly the ugliest BACK-TO-BACK offensive performance in potential championship clinching games in memory. Then his coach proceeded to take the ball out of his hands in the 4th quarter of Gm 7 since he has no confidence in his end of game performance based on his history.

>2011 balled in a close out vs the Knicks and had his arm
>broken after that
He sure did school the great Tony "The Trigger" Douglas. #Juststop

>And we know what he did in 2012.
Let's see: He went up against wet-behind-the-ears Jrue/Teague & scrubby ass Chalmers
-He either got outplayed or neutralized by wet-behind-the-ears Jrue in a couple of games.
-Celtics won a playoff game against the Hawks w/ Avery Bradley starting in his place...but...but... but Rondo was carrying the team.
-Proceeded to run circles around the same team JJ Barea was running circle around......impressive!

>So just stop.
Holla at me when he outplays an All-NBA point guard in the postseason.....he's in the west so it shouldn't be a problem finding one.

is the ultimate throwback PG...And with the way point guards have evolved today that's both a good and a bad thing...

This trade makes sense because Dallas already has real offensive fire power....It's a no-brainer...Rondo should be good there for the next 2 years...

But it's also quite alright to admit that Rondo is not a PG u build around. That's not a knock. Because today's PG does not fit Rondo's throwback "pass-first" mode...Today's PG shoot the 3 and force the issue offensively more in the mode of a combo guard.

When u surround Rondo with real offensive talent he becomes a monster because he is able to concentrate on his strengths. But when he is on a team filled with borderline allstars and C/D tier players Rondo's flaws (VERY shaky outside shot, at times shows reluctance to even shoot; and then there's his horrible FT shooting, which is unheard of for a PG considering they have the ball in their hands 100 percent of the time...) become very pronounced....

Rondo should enjoy a rebirth in Dallas....This is just about the perfect trade u could make with him involved given the players the Mavericks already have...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

I think we get too wrapped up in numbers instead of the outcome i.e. actual wins/losses.

Rondo is an exceptional talent. But his talents only fit in a round peg....

Dallas is that round peg...

for the reasons mentioned above.

Plus Rondo's ability to move the ball in the halfcourt is just unparalleled -- finds angles others can't, does smart things to warp defenses for purposes only obvious to him, and can deliver on the passes he conceives with awesome accuracy. The smartest offense in the league just got the smartest offensive mind to run it, busted ass J be damned.

158. "Why this could work:"
In response to Reply # 0

-Rondo will find Dirk, Parsons and to a lesser extent, Monta more open shots than they currently get.

-Chandler is a lob monster and Rondo is a set up king. Him and CP3 are the masters of that play.

-Rondo is a capable defender and great rebounder at his position.

-The Mavs have championship pedigree.

Why this could fail:

-Dirk vs Rondo personality wise. Let's hope they mesh.

-Monta might struggle with a ball dominant PG. Will be an adjustment because Rondo doesn't have the offensive game to play off the ball when Monta is hot. And Monta needs the ball to get hot. Carlise will have to figure this out.

-Rondo's FT woes...could hurt them in a big game. And you KNOW he won't want to come out of the game late.

-Chemistry issues. Changing the roster 20+ games into the season is always a risk.

Personally, I think it'll work well and the ante has been upped in the West. Not sure if Dallas can make it out of that gauntlet but getting Rondo for peanuts definitely helps.

Fun!

>Dirk vs Rondo personality wise. Let's hope they mesh.
Don’t see this as being an issue. Rondo doesn’t have a rep for being lazy or lacking in work ethic. I doubt Dirk gives two fucks about much else at this point, and I think he’ll probably appreciate another hard nosed veteran with a winning pedigree on this team. Especially at the point.

-Monta might struggle with a ball dominant PG. Will be an adjustment because Rondo doesn't have the offensive game to play off the ball when Monta is hot. And Monta needs the ball to get hot. Carlise will have to figure this out.
This isn’t Young Spice or S.A.G though. Rondo is ball dominant in a different way. He’s a distributor and a finisher, not a dead-eye shooter or a trigger happy ball hog. There may be some problem with Monta getting accustomed to playing off ball, but that will most likely be due more to how well he runs, cuts and comes off screens than anything else. If he makes the adjustment than he’ll be getting a few more easy buckets

-Rondo's FT woes...could hurt them in a big game. And you KNOW he won't want to come out of the game late.
Just put the ball in Monta’s hands, have Tyson set some back screens and make Rondo a cutter. If all five starters are on the floor it’s a pretty serious pick your poison scenario because Dirk and Chandler will draw opposing forwards to the three point line, Tyson’s close enough to clean the glass in the event Rondo can’t finish, or Monta slashes to the rim.

-Chemistry issues. Changing the roster 20+ games into the season is always a risk.

Agreed, but unless Rondo has a shit attitude, but with Rondo’s playing style I doubt this goes past 10 games.

All in all this has realistic potential to be a Sheed-To-Detroit

He can't make a fuckin' open shot nor check the opposing guard w/o flopping. Monta is actually finding it tough to get in the paint b/c the defense has no regard for Ronda thus they can't find cracks in the defense as easily as they were able to w/ either Harris or Jameer spacing the floor.

They still scored 95 after Jameer got comfortable w/ his new teammates. You have to look at the ENTIRE 48 esp. considering it was Jameer's first game on a lotto team. I remember the Spurs scoring 5 points in the 1st quarter against the Grizz but they eventually won the game. Zeller was still eating & HAS been eating WITHOUT Rondooo when he was supposed to come back down to earth.

Meanwhile Rondo is out there freezing his back-court mate & turning what had previously been the best offense in the league BEFORE his arrival into a turnover machine.

I don't need posters to prove anything I just need to WITNESS Rondo outplaying an All-NBA point guard in a playoff series. If you have a footage of Rondo outplaying an All-NBA point guard then inbox.

Rondo is overrated because he hasnt been great in the last year or so (been hurt)

And hes overrated until he out plays an all pro pg in a playoff series?

Are you slow? Do you know how many pgs in nba history have never clearly done that?

Thats the bar that you came up with? You are silly

RBO had been claiming Rondo is the best point guard in the NBA until he got hurt but for now he has resorted to him no lower than top 10 in his CURRENT form...lol! Rondo was NEVER close to being the best point guard & he is in no way or form a top 10 PG in his current form even w/ his stat padding ass leading the league in assists.

It has nothing to do w/ him playing for the Cs or anything since I also regularly criticize Tony Parker & have made claims that he has been overrated at times even I have pledge my allegiance to Team Duncan.

On the other hand name recognition creates a MAJOR bias when it comes to the All-NBA Defense teams since a handful of the voters don't pay attention to players who specialize in defense. The All-Star team is just plain joke & tomfoolery so you might be mistaking the All-Star team w/ the NFL's All-Pro team but they aren't the same since fans DON'T vote for All-Pro (it's the players that vote for their peers) but it's the fans that vote for the All-Star starters in the NBA.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

Rondo still the best. Now he's on a team where people will see he's still the best and infuriate niggaz like you.

Does Carlisle want Charlie V taking shots or Monta?

Besides, Zeller is doing just fine w/o Rond0!
