lol...not really, but this is gonna be fun, I think. Motte is a good dude. He really struggled coming off TJ surgery last season. Cards couldn't give him the cash he wanted while featuring him as a bridge to Rosenthal. Cubs got dough to spend. It's a risk, but if he can get right, get his velocity back up in the high 90's and that cutter back in the low 90's...it could pay off. Gonna be strange seeing the beard in pinstripes. So...Sunday, April 5th on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball...Cards @ Cubs...Jon Lester vs. Adam Wainwright with Jason Motte in the pen...good times.
