You had arguably the GOAT QB, arguably the most talented wideout ever, Hall of Fame DB, and pretty much the GOAT football bust ever.
That 98 NFL draft was probably the first I followed really closely too... they should probably just rerun that telecast in years where the draft is really boring like it's probably going to be next year.
The beats of the story feel very familiar (once-in-a-generation black athlete comes from tough background and racism/poverty almost derail quest to greatness) but you don't always get the story of the surrounding community told with the same care and humanity as this project.
the refrain "as much an idea as a place was really dope" and that last 10 minutes was as good as anything 30 for 30 has done.
