Those three games he started last year was a small glimpse into what happens over the course of a season. We want that Washington team to start Kirk Cousins for the whole season. By we, I mean the rest of the league.

It would be a HUGE mistake across the board. They picked up Cousins in the same draft, NOT to have him start over your franchise guy (4th round vs. 3 first-round picks).

Clearly, given the reps and a "coaching staff that believes in his abilities", Kirk Cousins can blossom. What he blossoms into is up in the air at the moment.

I don't think he's better than SBM (or even really starter material; he's a tier below Rex Cannon IMO. if he starts its on a team thirsty for competent QB play) but when SBM (true to the "S" in his moniker) struggles they're going to point the finger toward Kirk and BOOM... you have Tim Couch vs. Kelly Holcomb-type QB WARZ.
