to see some black kids conquer the sport at the Little League level, especially a team from an urban area. Our percentages in the majors are really low, we need something to get us more involved in the sport again.

I have an anecdote Im sure ive shared here.

Im Upper elem and middle school there was a girl who played basketball and football with my crew. She was 3 years younger, and while not necessarily the best of the group, she could hang with us. I think we were in 6th and she was in 4th.

She was fast and quick as hell, and just knew how to play sports.

these rich fuckers from out here in Pearland (suburb 15mins south of downtown houston) are asking for donations so their entire families can take the month off and go up to williamsburg

They give up 2 runs to go down 7-3, only to have a break out 5th inning complete with a grandslam to go up 10-7. They tacked on 2 more to win the game 12-7.

I've gotta give it to New Albany. Their starter was a fucking monster, but Jackie Robinson West was able to get his pitch count high early and he had to bounce. His relievers got crushed.

Team will be fun to watch in Williamsport. At this point, I am just hoping none of them turn out to be 14 years old.
