Young I think is gonna start out a good rotation big (if only undersized and unrefined), then become more effective over time. I think because he's 6'10" in shoes he's been overlooked.

Ariza gone and Pierce old so he should get some regular tic now that he's healthy.
He seems to be the forgotten pick from last year. Dude has been invisible.
People keep saying the Wiz are having a great off season but I haven't seen anything that makes me look at them and go 'woah'. But Otto producing might be their best move.
They lost what, Ariza? Signed Blair, Humphries & Pierce?
already had Marcin and Gooden...just kept them.
Eh...but if Otto makes the leap, They might be a top 3-4 seed.

Wall/Beal/Otto/Gortat...good core to be excited about.
A lot depends on Otto and Beal getting better (I think they will) but I don't know if they'll be consistent enough to get a top 3.
I could see how people would say that given the East being wide open but I actually think the Bulls, Cavs, Pacers, Hawks, Raps, Hornets and Heat have just as much a shot at top 3 as the Wiz.

They had rebounding. Blair + Humphries added to Gooden/Gortat/Nene...somebody ain't getting minutes. Though I guess hedging on Nene's normal 15-20 game vacation is a good thing.

It's some shit broke ass kids do to pass the time. It consists entirely staring out from their motel window at the nice cars passing by and trying to be the first to call out the best car.
The depressing thing about it was that even if you called out every car first every time, it didn't matter. You were still a broke ass kid who didn't have shit, and you damn sure didn't have the title or registration to any of those cars. You just happened to call it first.
This is a lot like that.

doesn't look like he lost much there, if anything.
i liked his decision-making out of the P&R with rolo. he makes the right play more often than not, that pick and pop with lauri is going to be a nice weapon.
defense is still crap but he knows it. he talked in the postgame about improving on that end.
