Always good times before the shit starts. After the game ended & we had done the walk of shame past the catcalls cascading down from those lame condo balconies facing out into the lots we had parked, I called up found a Holiday Inn in Scottsdale to shit/shower/shave plus park the RV we rented before taking in some nightlife.
By the time my boy's brother-in-law (who ran a gym plus provided some AZ trainers/athletes 'supplements') had taken me past the lines in/out of a few clubs in what I believe was Downtown Scottsdale, I recall being up in some spot called the Pussy Cat Lounge, a few of us in the booth while others on the floor smoking weed publicly (upon recommendation) in the middle of the dancefloor while a couple gorgeous Scottsdale females (who all looked the same but no matter, they were friendly) were grinding up on me to some mid-to-late-90's Bad Boy/Timbaland/Cash Money and I had completely forgotten why we'd ever arrived in Arizona in the first place.
That was until I looked over at the VIP booth next to ours where Donovan was smiling & sipping champagne looking like he just threw an 'aw, shucks' pick. Paused then momentarily said to myself, 'oh yeah, the Eagles lost another conference championship game they were favored in today', then just as quickly my brain said 'fuck it' & went back to "Luv 2 Luv U" by Tim & Magoo.

I loved McNabb and I understand he didn't get his due from everyone but you pay the cost to be the boss. To me what the Shanahans did to him was fucked up but he didn't exactly rush out there and prove them wrong.
Dude sounds like an alcoholic. That is very sad to hear. I hope he gets the help he needs because he has always had a very promising post-NFL career ahead of him and still should.
And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

this. Absolutely no way you put something like this on Philly. He may not have received the full respect he deserved, but overall he was treated well and supported by his coaches & teammates. He elevated himself to a level of stardom that he may not have reached had he played for many other teams. He had plenty of chances when he left here, but he couldn't put it together for a variety of reasons.
These DUIs do give weight to the rumors that were floating around years ago that McNabb spent a bit too much time boozing. It would also explain the excess body weight he seemed to put on with each successive season. I remember there was a rumor way back that McNabb was out boozin pretty hard during SB week. Part of me wonders if he was hungover in that 2009 NFC title game at AZ when he stunk up the joint for the whole first half.
Anyway, none of that matters now. What does matter is that McNabb gets this drinking problem under control. Hopefully it's not too serious and he makes better decisions moving forward.

he's right, but lol @ bad dad talking about being responsible..
Terrell Owens says he's genuinely worried about his ex-teammate Donovan McNabb -- saying he's lucky the QB didn't kill anyone in his recent DUI arrest and wants him to get help, ASAP.
TMZ Sports spoke with T.O. who says the June 28th arrest should serve as a "wake up call" for the former Philadelphia Eagles star.
"DUI is a very serious thing. The number of lives that have been lost from it are staggering. It's a blessing no one was hurt."
Owens continued, "We may not still be playing, but we still serve as role models. You have to be more responsible."
