Dude is getting outplayed not by only Russy but also his back-up (Reggie). They need Manu to play well (as the secondary play-maker)since OKC is going to load up on Top5 & Tim has to deal w/ Perk/Ibaka/Adams/Collison.

Spurs had 11 points in the first half in transition....that dropped to 0 in the 2nd half while OKC dropped 14 in transition.
OKC has the number of the 2 out of the 3 other top seeds in the west...their meat up front combined with the 1-4 versatility nullifies a lot of SA and Houston's strengths. Both of those teams may have to hope that the Clipps stay in the 3 seed because they are the only ones capable of grinding out OKC, barring a complete meltdown of course.

13. "That's b/c OKC turned up the defensive intensity in the 3rd quarter" In response to Reply # 12
When they started blitzing Tony he fell into their trap by being stubborn & trying to dribble out of every situation instead of giving it up early. Eventually he ended up giving up the rock w/ not much time left on the clock which lead to rushed shots or forced passes.
On the other end Russy started isolating on Tony & having his way instead of giving the ball to KD & waiting for the inevitable double team. Besides you aren't going to get fast-break opportunities unless the other team is missing & vice-versa. Russy was basically pushing the ball down the floor after every miss & either pulling up or attacking the rim before the defense had a chance to set up.
All in all, give credit to OKC's defense in the 2nd half (esp. Russy & Ibaka).
As far as the Clips, CP3 is hard to trap b/c of his ball handling skill & his superior pass ability. He will pick them apart if OKC decides to implement that strategy. They also have JCrossover & Collison whom Doc can use as secondary play-makers. Besides, Ibaka can't camp in the paint since he has to check Blake (Perk/Collison/Adams can't handle him), which will make life in the paint less miserable for the guards. So, I hope Pop takes notice & holds onto the #1 seed just to avoid OKC until the WCF.
