on the UFC roster has decent enough stand-up to test Ronda? From what I saw from Cat Zigano when she fought Tate, she didn't impress me too much. I've heard of a woman named Holy Holm that was supposedly good, but I don't know much of her.

Her stand up is sloppy but aside from the armbar, the judo is a whole nother dimension. Unless theres a woman that has true KO power, nobody will beat her.

Raising your hands and running around as result of an injury was a bit odd to me. Weidman was effective in the first round with the takedown and neutralized Silva's stand-up throughout the fight, which was more impressive to me than anything else. But to celebrate from a stoppage from an injury is a bit weird to me.

I don't know if he knew right away that he had broken his leg, or if he did, that probably took a second to sink in. His first priority was to win --- w/ this type of prestige on the line, a guy will be pleased with *any* type of win as long as it gets done. Had he been malicious in celebrating Silva being injured, that would be different, but that wasn't the case here.
I think he was very happy w/ his work...after all, this was a guy who clowned him to no end and disrespected his pedigree as a fighter, and he basically dominated Silva again - and be as 'lucky' (for him) or 'unlucky' for Silva -- fact of the matter is Weidman defended and telegraphed the kick well, did everything he needed to do to control the fight, and won. I'd be happy, too. telegraphed kicks well

get injured all the time just training for the shit lets you know it's pretty rough. And compared to the major sports, they don't get paid all the much yet to be honest.
I dont think he has the style to dominate the division like GSP, Silva, and Bones-- but make no mistake the kid is good. The tristate AREA (not NYC)produces these Matt Serra, Frankie Edgar, Weidman type guys who are smart/tough as hell fighters.
Id like to see Lyoto vs Weidman. As long as Lyoto isnt over the hill, his precision striking could give Weidman problems. Im tired of seeing Vitor get shot after shot, era after era and coming up short.
Jacare would be a good fight if Jacare is healthy.
I wouldnt mind Weidman fucking up Michael Bisping for fun either.
