Nobody is going to cut a 3rd string 4th round rookie to make room for a veteran, you keep him cheap and hope he develops.

Now if Vick and Foles have serious long term injuries then you go out and sign a vet, but you don't just cut your 3rd string rookies because a vet may be better.

Vince showed lots of promise, won games, went to pro bowls, rookie of the year.

Jamarcus never once showed any willingness to put in the effort to be successful.

Vince Young is done. If he was white he'd probably get an extra opportunity or two to prove that he's done, but that doesn't change the fact that he's done.
