Thats fine. I can start Alshon and Kendall Wright.

Obviously Wright woulda been a much more exciting pick if he didnt get hurt - but hes a better wr than Britt.

It's such a bad bet but it pays so well. It's like a 7 team parlay.

Lol at Ceres MVP prediction.

The raiders are historically bad. Even if he rushed for 2000 the team would suck and have 5 wins max.

WR Antonio Brown
RB LeSean McCoy

TE Vernon Davis
RB Darren Sproles
K Matt Prater
DEF Cincinnati

QB Sam Bradford
WR Mike Wallace
WR Steve Johnson
WR Percy Harvin
RB Rashard Mendenhall
RB Jonathan Stewart
TE Owen Daniels

a WR2 collection, but I just need one of them to outperform. hopefully mitigated by a running back trio that all catch passes (a little surprised S-Jax made it to me in the second round). sucked into the Vernon Davis vortex of disappointment, but fuck it.

hate the Stevie Johnson pick; I figured Golden Tate or Josh Gordon would've made it back to me that round. a third my bench is tied up in 2014 stashes.

Kaepernick will make or break this team.

Not sure the extra 2.5 points a game is enough for a first rounder though.

not sure who he's gonna throw to this year. steven jackson probably made it back to you 'cause he's old and slow and the falcons couldn't run the football at all last year. TDs are his only hope. your RB depth behind him is solid though.

i said freeman runs too. he does. nothing about that is in dispute. cry about 40 times all you want, but he's a big guy-- same size as cam newton-- and when he gets going, he's hard to bring down. in 2010-2011, freeman averaged the same amount of rushing yards, same number of carries as aaron rodgers, and everyone agrees aaron rodgers runs. freeman runs too.

stop acting like i called the dude michael vick. i mean, i'd be mad too if i was counting on a crabtree-less kaepernick to lead my fantasy team, but you can call off the march on washington.

josh freeman plus vincent jackson = colin kaepernick minus michael crabtree. that's math.

i mean, i'd be happy to calculate the points/game stats of freeman vs. kaep from last year after kaep took over so you can see how surprisingly close they were, and then knock a point or two off kaep's numbers to account for not having crabtree this year, so you can see that they're basically the same guy at that point. but none of that is necessary because the above equation stands. put it into your calculator. it's math. it checks out.

Freeman had one season (2011) where his running accounted for any meaningful fantasy points.

in his other three seasons (you know, the majority of his career and most recent year), Jay Cutler has outscored him on the ground. and that’s not even a racial example -- I bring Cutler up because nobody would define his skill-set as "runs like Kaepernick but with Brandon Marshall to throw to."

as for Freeman's throwing ability outscoring Kaepernick this season, that's arguable. you say losing Crabtree will destroy his value, I say that his gained experience (he was putting up Drew Brees fantasy points in the playoffs...you know, in only his 9th, 10th and 11th career starts) and legs will make up the difference.

then talking about kaep's 9th, 10th, and 11th career starts. i wouldn't be so quick to add up his playoff run as gained experience anyway. could be it was crabtree that made the leap, not kaep.

Hate my RBs after AP, but with that 3rd round pick it was either go for a stud WR or get a potentially shaky RB and I thought it would still be some quality left when it came back to me in the 4th, but you all totally switched it up from last year and went back to old school

I'll let you figure out the rest of the rules. and Kaepernick was self-inflicted keeper sabotage -- I would've made the playoffs starting Sam Bradford and Ryan Tannehill all year instead of that late-to-throw, non-defense-reading, statue-in-the-pocket, Jay-Cutler-esque "phenom"

QB - drew brees
QB - tony romo

RB - maurice jones-drew
RB - david wilson
RB - giovani bernard
RB - leveon bell
RB - shonn greene

WR - calvin johnson
WR - danny amendola
WR - eric decker
WR - lance moore
WR - michael crabtree

TE - aaron herna... sorry, zach sudfeld
TE - rob housler

K - blair walsh

DEF - san diego

not sure how brees fell to the bottom of the 3rd round, but you'll all pay dearly for that. never should have happened. likewise calvin johnson falling to the 10th pick. landing the #1 QB and #1 WR-- and still getting a legit RB1-- is pretty much a dream come true.

at RB, obviously counting on a comeback year from mojo. he led the league in rushing and was a top 3 fantasy back two years ago playing for the league's worst offense, so health is the only concern here. passed the eye test in preseason though. few young studs in training in david wilson, giovani, and leveon. if any of those three break out, my backfield could be a serious problem. shonn greene is just a guy, but in case of emergency, he's a solid play. he'll be vulturing TDs from CJ anyway.

calvin johnson will make up for a ton of sins at WR. maybe amendola stays healthy and pulls in 100 recs, maybe he doesn't. maybe decker loses half his targets to welker, maybe not. almost none of it matters because CJ's gonna put up my WR1 and WR2 stats (2,000 yards, 20 TDs). anything my other guys do is icing. grabbed crabtree hoping for a late season miracle comeback, maybe a keeper pick for next year, but it'll take some willpower to hold him that long. we'll see.

at TE i went upside over floor, hoping sudfield or housler catch on with brady and palmer, both of whom love throwing to their TEs. someone took cameron a few picks ahead of me.

wasn't planning on taking a backup QB so early and would have been fine with more of a project, but i looked at the board and said no. i can't allow someone else to stack up on skill guys then land romo in round 8. cost me joique bell who went three picks later, but whatever. i've got rock solid insurance at QB. and inevitably when some team around midseason gets tired of platooning eli manning and andy dalton every week, i'll have a solid trade chip.

in conclusion, i'm the team you don't want to play. i have three guys who can single-handedly end your week, and a good supporting cast behind them. and just to surefire jinx my team, i'll declare here and now that if i don't make the 'offs, i'm the worst owner ever. worse than me last year even.

if mathews doesn't come through for you, you'll be relying on the broncos 3rd string RB or the passing games of the browns and jaguars. he's not a luxury.

I'm pretty happy with the value I got from each pick - especially at WR.

Obviously Bush was risky but I wasn't feeling the other RB2s (yes, MJD is not ELITE right now) so I went with the high ceiling. He's still a second round pick so it's not like I picked Lamar Miller in the early 3rd.

>(yes, MJD is not ELITE right now) so I went with the high ceiling.

AGE
bush: 28 (rookie year: 2006)
MJD: 28 (rookie year: 2006)

CAREER HIGH RUSHING YDS
bush: 1,086
MJD: 1,606

CAREER HIGH RUSHING TDS
bush: 6
MJD: 15

CAREER HIGH RECEIVING YDS
bush: 440
MJD: 565

CAREER HIGH RECEIVING TDS
bush: 4
MJD: 3

TOTAL CAREER YDS
bush: 6,892
MJD: approx. 10,000 (too many to accurately calculate)

TOTAL CAREER TDS
bush: 44
MJD: 74

NUMBER OF FINISHES AS A TOP 10 FANTASY RB:
bush: never and never will
MJD: every year except last

so explain to everyone again, sarah, how MJD is not elite and bush has a higher ceiling. or you can just admit you blew your pick. just as i knew you would, which is why i felt comfortable taking calvin johnson in the 1st and letting MJD come back around.

2) you didn't know 'shit' would happen
3) MJD came back around because he's not a first round back.

you're terrible at 'talking shit' (despite what Longo says) because you just make shit up. I long for the days for the angry Ernie or Zeno or when Longo would beg us to let him into the league. The league had character then.

So a more 'worn down' player on probably the worst team in the NFL is considerably better than a guy who's going to be the #2 receiving option on a strong offensive team who plays from behind a ton and throws a lot? #yards

Last season Reggie was the #14 ranked RB in this league but being the #13th off the board is an error? After going to a stronger team? #gotit

We'll talk come December. No need to reply back to me. You're not going to 'make your name' by trying to be my #7 rival in this league. You gotta put in work and show-up. You tried this last year and then disappeared as your team stayed in last place.

What # QB was Cam taken off the board this year? #LOL #WORSTKEEPER

You're out of your element.

In response to Reply # 113

what's hilarious is that you CHOSE to drop down and pick at the turn, yet you have no idea how to draft at the turn. you think taking the 14th ranked RB with the 13th pick is smart, which it would be if it was an RB only league. it's not. you passed on the #1 or #2 at every other position so you could lock down a mediocre RB corps. oops.

and if you knew anything about football, you'd know that MJD led the league in rushing and has been a perennial top 10 fantasy RB while playing for the league's worst offense. meanwhile, bush played two-thirds of his career in the league's best offense-- maybe the best offense of all-time-- and did nothing year after year. so keep talking about the lions offense versus the jags offense like any of that matters.

listen, mojo doesn't take it personally that you passed on him. he's a 5'7" late 2nd round pick, he's spent his entire career being underestimated then promptly wrecking everybody's day. you say he's worn down. that's funny 'cause he's the same age and has 200 fewer career carries than adrian peterson, who you would've punched your best friend in the face to draft. mojo doesn't care where i drafted him or who passed on him, he's just gonna do what he do, which is put on his helmet and go to work. he thinks it'd be nice if you admitted your draft day mistake and apologized for saying he's not elite, but he's not holding his breath. drew brees, on the other hand, is being a little emo about all this. you passed on him twice. and you did it to draft reggie bush, the guy even HE couldn't turn into a star. i can't promise he won't take it out on you.

QB: Wilson(Freeman)
RB: Spiller/Gore(Bryce Brown/Fred Jackson/Bernard Pierce)
WR: Demariyus/Denarius (Blackmon/Little)
TE: Gronk (Gresham as the placeholder)
K: Giant
DEF: Ram
Flex: Hope/Prayer

I don't hate this team as much as I did right after the draft...but I really don't feel good about it either.

Pretty satisfied...only missed out on 1 pick that got snatched right before I got him....but I stuck to my game plan..... I prefer having 2 QBs and playing match ups ..unless I got one of the top 3 guys.... Like others I was at a point where I had to choose between a bomb WR and another RB....knew that point was coming...and I said before the draft that I'd only choose the WR in that case for Calvin, Andre or Julio..and when Andre was there...I took the chance that at least a couple #1 RBs would be left and fortunately there where...

last year my RBs were better than my WRs..but I was solid in both area...this year my WRs are better than my RBs...but again solid in both areas..... nothing but #1 WR options for the teams the play for...

and I dig my DSTs...

I'm straight....

platooning for match ups... I didn't draft 2 QBs to do that last year...picked up Dalton off the waiver wire....

this year I went into the season with DRAFTING 2 QBs for the purpose of playing the match ups..

seems pretty clear that's what I meant but since you've stayed up late waiting with enthusiasm for Warren Coolidge to post his squad, I'm sure you got confused....hell..I thought you might post my squad for me since you stay so vehemently attached to Warren Coolidge's jock..

psst..If I were you I'd worry bout them RBs you got who are 3rd string on their own team but 2nd string on yours...lolol.

last december during the fantasy football playoffs, romo was the #5 scoring fantasy QB (300+ yds/game). eli was #14 (200 yds/game). dalton was #28 (180 yds/game). you don't have two QBs better than romo. you really don't.

The Denver Post believes Ronnie Hillman is the "biggest mess" in Denver's backfield, and the Broncos "cannot" enter the season with Hillman as the starter.

Dwyer is a decent shot - but only cause Bell is hurt - or else he wasnt gonna play/

Tony Romo got cheesed out then came in camp fat and over-weight.... that was really all I needed to see..

plus...

Andy Dalton certainly has more weapons than Romo when folks are healthy.... I'd take Gresham, Eifert, AJ, Sanu, Jones, Tate and the duo of Bernard and BJGE over what Romo has.....

Dalton has more weapons than last year, and last year there were not too many QBs who were better when his weapons were healthy....once Sanu got hurt, Dalton's weapons were diminished and his numbers went down.... They have a better overall team this year and I look for him to play about as well as he did last year during the middle of the season....

Eli again has more weapons than Romo.... depth at WR....solid TEs....and a diverse running game with guys who can catch the ball out of the backfield...Cruz, Nicks, Randall, and Bearden are much much better than Romo's WRs....I mean it's not even close....

and Eli is more likely to chunk em up this year being that his RBs are younger and there isn't that kind of obligation to get guys touches at RB like when you had Bradshaw and them...

going with Eli and Dalton gave me the opportunity to have 4 guys who are their teams legit #1 option at WR and 3 guys who are legit #1 RBs on their teams..

I'll take that all day.

no amount of typing is gonna make andy dalton a better QB than tony romo, real life or fantasy. i'll sit and listen to your argument about eli manning just 'cause i still owe him for cutting off the pats post-spygate dynasty, but fantasy-wise the numbers are not on your side. your QB platoon is doodoo. can't type your way out of it.

One of the worst "big 3's", you'll obviously always pick the wrong QB, RB2 is average at best, WR/TE corps looks like something I'd like in 2007.

In Spite of Some Early-Round Value Picks, 10 years 3 Rings Lands Closer to the Bottom Than the Top
Draft Grade: B
Think you’re better than this? Nominate yourself for the Toyota Hall of Fame and prove it.

A mediocre draft slot can often result in a mediocre draft performance. Picking 14th overall, 10 years 3 Rings is projected to land in eighth place in UL 11!! No Gimmick Year!! League with a record of 5-9-0 (7,471 points). With their first five picks, 10 years 3 Rings focused on balance, selecting QB Sam Bradford (14th overall), RBs Matt Forte (15th) and Darren McFadden (42nd), and WRs Julio Jones (43rd) and Jordy Nelson (70th). They ended up with a solid set of RBs, as they added Forte, McFadden, David Wilson, and Montee Ball.

The Season Ahead
Week 9 figures to be a difficult one for 10 years 3 Rings. Among all weeks this season, it has both their largest number of players (4) and projected fantasy points on bye. From a projected points standpoint, they have a more-challenging-than-average schedule. 10 years 3 Rings has the opportunity to exit the gates quickly, as the first four games of their season are projected to be less difficult than the league average. An especially easy stretch appears to start in Week 5, during which 10 years 3 Rings plays projected bottom-tier teams for two consecutive games.

Draft Notes
Stoutest Slot: 10 years 3 Rings should be in good shape with four position groups projected to be better-than-average. RB looks to be the strongest among them, beating the average projection for the position by 25.9%.
Biggest Steal: 10 years 3 Rings may have found a steal in the 10th round, grabbing Chicago (127th overall pick vs. ADP of 71.1).
It's How You Finish: 10 years 3 Rings had a strong finish, accumulating the most projected points in the league over the second half of the draft.
Bargain Hunter: With six steals in the first 11 rounds (including Chicago, Tavon Austin, and Jordy Nelson), 10 years 3 Rings made some shrewd moves.
Young and Hungry: 10 years 3 Rings is the youngest squad in the league, with an average of just 3.5 years of NFL experience.
Super Sleeper: 10 years 3 Rings hopes that a pair of late-round sleepers will break out this season (Robert Woods and Johnathan Cyprien).
Toyota Top Picks
Sam BradfordSam Bradford
1st Round (14th Pick)
A Necessary Reach: 10 years 3 Rings may have reached a bit for their first-round choice. Sam Bradford, taken with the 14th overall pick, has an ADP of 132.8 across all Yahoo! leagues. He could pay big dividends in a multi-QB league, but there were higher-ranked signal callers left on the board.

Matt ForteMatt Forte
2nd Round (15th Pick)
Matt Forte was the best value pick of the round, projected to score 61.5% more points than the average player at that position.

D. McFaddenD. McFadden
3rd Round (42nd Pick)
According to projections, Darren McFadden will fall outside of the NFL top 10 in both rushing TDs (34th with 4.8) and yards (22nd with 984).

Julio JonesJulio Jones
4th Round (43rd Pick)
Postseason Hero: Last season, owning Julio Jones usually equalled fantasy success. Among all players, he ranked in the top 20 across all Yahoo! leagues in individual playoff percentage (11th), a trend that 10 years 3 Rings hopes will continue this year.

Jordy NelsonJordy Nelson
5th Round (70th Pick)
Jordy Nelson is expected to reach paydirt 9.1 times, placing him seventh in the NFL in projected receiving TDs.

Calling an Audible
TE, the only subpar position on 10 years 3 Rings, is projected to be 5.9% worse than the league average at that spot.

The following undrafted players may be worth considering:

Tier 1

Smuts- 2 one hundred point guys. Love the base of Brady and Jamal Charles. Feel like Morris will have a bit of a disappointing year- Helu will steal some touches. (nice combo you have). Nice WRs but Carson is throwing to Fitz in that shithole they call Arizona.

KC- Almost 3 one hundred point guys. This is gonna be a good team. I think Ingram will bounce back a bit and at least be decent to good. Like the WRs. Defense is good - could make another run if AP is still back.

Ernie- 2.5 one hundred point guys: Cam, Ray and Dez.
a little more stable than my team. Love the Cam pick. He's gonna have a great year. Was targeting him but when no QBs go I had to take Peyton. Can't turn down Raiders, Chargers, and Chiefs defenses twice. Dont trust Eddie Lacy in the Pack offense. Ben Tate will be great if Arian is hurt long term , but otherwise...Love the depth at WR
Xfactors: Lacy, Britt, and Tate

Me - 2 One hundred point guys + Run DMC, unproven but maybe underrated receivers
X factor: guys DMC and Chris Ivory will be difference between playoff contender and champ

Tier 2
Will- 2 one hundred point guys. Jax and Lesean can each do it but I see inconsistent years. Wonder how much ATL uses Jax as a pass catcher. WRs are eh like he said, but have some potential

Matty- 2 one hundred point guys. Like the Trent Rich pick, Cobb and Nicks willbe solid but inconsistent WRS. I think Luck will be a little worse statistically this year.

Tier 3
Professional - 2 possible one hundred point guys. Drew and Megatron. Dont like the RB situation. See continued downhill for MJD on a shitty Jax team. Dont trust WIlson to carry the load in NY (id love it if he did for my OTHER league). San Diego D is gonna cost games early.

Longo- possible one hundred point guys 1.5. Woulda drafted a better QB than Smith to backup RG3. Love Doug, still not sold on the Lamar Miller bandwagon. Always a preseason hype dude like him every year. If Lamar doesnt pan out then Brandon Marshall has to be a top 4 WR to help this team compete. Wont happen with my boy Alshon there

Cere-Wont be a good year for Cere though I do like the CJ2k pick for a bounceback. Thats about it. (at least youre ranked higher than Warren.

Coolidge- Dalton/Eli? Marshawn gonna be worse this year, Wrs ehhhh after Andre.

Tier 4
Cej ehhhhhh- flopped like most rookies. WIll pull out a couple wins with some big weeks from WRs but wont be consistent.

Shelly- mightve managed to do worse than Ceej no depth and no studs after SPiller (til he gets hurt)

McFadden has been a top 10 back ONCE. ever. the other four seasons he's been glitzy bench fodder, and amazingly this could be the worst Raiders team he's ever played on. Ivory has talent but has never carried the full load and his offensive situation is nearly as dire.

if you're crazy enough to have McFadden as your RB2, you need a rock-solid number one. and Foster is looking dicey in that regard (although I've never liked that fumbling choker).

Nelson could be a value but I don't like pairing him with two other Packers. maybe Thompkins or Jeffery step up, but I'd be surprised if they outscored Jones over the entire season. Wright and Patterson are capped by awful QB situations.

At Monday's practice, rookie Montee Ball was promoted onto the first-team offense with Peyton Manning.
Denver's starter to this point in camp, Ronnie Hillman "was carrying a football around everywhere" after fumbling for the third time this preseason Saturday night. Coach John Fox cautioned to "not read too much into" the depth chart change, but it's been foreseeable. Ball is the best fit for Broncos' offense as a runner, and he didn't miss any pass-pro assignments in the third exhibition game. He's a value pick in the fifth and sixth rounds of fantasy drafts. Knowshon Moreno has the backfield's second most value, with Hillman falling to third.

Coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Monday that DuJuan Harris' (knee) availability for Week 1 against San Francisco is in doubt.
He's getting a second opinion, the results of which may determine whether Harris needs a scope. Already playing alongside Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay's shotgun offense, Eddie Lacy has a chance to open the season as an every-down back. Harris has injured his right knee twice since the start of Packers camp. Fourth-round pick Johnathan Franklin is a distant No. 3 on the depth chart.

Running back to be your #2 RB......

all this shit you talking is to avoid that issue..

not only do you have a green back packer RB...but you have one who is going to split carries with 2 other guys....... even if you had a Packer back who wasn't splitting carries..there is no reason on earth to rely on a packer back to be your #2 RB being that they simply don't run the ball much...particularly in the red zone....

anyone who has had the displeasure of having a Green Bay running back on their fantasy roster in recent years knows exactly what I'm talking about...

it was like having Michael Turner over the last couple years except that the Falcons would at least give him 1 carry at the goal line....maybe...the packers don't even do that...

lol.

2012 Green Bay Packer RBs: 342 carries, 1251 yards

2012 Carolina Panther RBs: 320 carries, 1256 yards

2012 Dallas Cownoys RBs: 318 carries, 1201 yards

Shoulda prepped more.

last year's top 3 Packer running back.... Benson had 47.50 fantasy points.....Starks 36.60..... and Alex Green 67.90...

In 10 games DeMarco Murray had 128.90 fantasy points....

DeAngelo Williams played in all 16 games but had 7 or less carries in 6 of those....and ended the season with 136.90 fantasy points...

The Packers as a team had more combined "production" out of their running backs...but they did not have 1 running back that by themselves could be categorized as anything close to "productive"..

if you now have Lacy along with a healthy Franklin.....Starks AND Green.... again...a rookie Lacy who came into camp in questionable shape....I just wouldn't want to be in a position where I had to have that guy be my #2 back.... especially with guys like Isiah Pead behind him who at best is going to be the Rams 3rd down back...and may see the field less and less as Zac Stacy and B. Cunningham develop as the Rams only between the tackles runner.... Pead's problem..other than fumbling is that he's not a between the tackles guy and what he is actually decent at...Darryl Richardson is much much better and has proven so in NFL games...

the other thing about the Pakers is that stat wise you're going to have some quanity out of the running back position because they are often way ahead in games..and thus will stop passing so much...the only problem is that they haven't had the type of running backs that will produce quality within that quanity.

I'm just saying....I wouldn't trade YOUR RBs for Mine in a million years..... Nobody would.

And thats kind of the point for forward thinkers. You draft like it's 2008.

But we can end the back and forth. Lacy vs Murray for next years entry. Total fantasy points. Save your keystrokes, it's a yes or no and we can move on.

Packers placed RB DuJuan Harris (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Coach Mike McCarthy made the announcement Monday. He didn't rule out the possibility of making Harris the Packers' injured reserve/designated for return player, but that's unlikely. Harris injured his right knee twice over the course of OTAs and the preseason, and likely needs surgery. Eddie Lacy will open the season as Green Bay's clear-cut lead back, and possibly operate as an every-down back. His fantasy value is soaring. Alex Green, Johnathan Franklin, and James Starks round out the depth chart.

Jonathan Stewart placed on reserve/PUP list

Panthers placed RB Jonathan Stewart (ankles) on the reserve/PUP list.
Stewart got a second opinion on Monday, and it wasn't positive. He'll be eligible to return in Week 7. J-Stew had surgery on both ankles shortly after the end of last season, but is still having problems with his right foot. DeAngelo Williams is now locked in as the Panthers' starter, and could in theory run with the job in Stewart's absence. His recent play suggests that won't happen, however. You're best off avoiding the Panthers' running situation, but if you must, draft D-Will as a lower-end FLEX play.

Isaac Redman remains ahead of Dwyer in PIT

Isaac Redman will be the Steelers' starter while Le'Veon Bell (foot) is sidelined.
Bell isn't expected back until Week 3 or 4 at the earliest. That leaves the Steelers with the unholy quartet of Redman, Jonathan Dwyer, LaRod Stephens-Howling and Felix Jones. Although Redman has been nursing a stinger, he's a coaching staff favorite and the most reliable option. Dwyer and whoever wins the change-of-pace job will also see work as part of a committee. It's a low-upside situation for fantasy owners. Redman had plenty of chances last year, but managed just 410 yards and two touchdowns on 110 carries (3.72 YPC).

Warren Coolidge's 4th string RB must have missed this one

http://dev.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/267603/ronnie-hillman-back-as-first-team-rb-Tuesday

"Ronnie Hillman regained the first-team reps during Tuesday's practice.
Coach John Fox shook the fantasy world on Monday when he gave Montee Ball first-team reps for the first time all camp. That was apparently a one-day punishment for Hillman's latest exhibition game fumble. Fox was asked Tuesday who his starting running back will be Week 1: "I don't even know yet, so I don't know how you all know," he said. "They'll both carry a big load for us this season, knock on wood. Whether it's '1A' and '1' or however you want to list it." This competition figures to rage on into the regular season. We still believe Ball is the best talent and best fit available to Fox. Tuesday's news will make Hillman a candidate to be overdrafted in leagues commencing over the next 48 hours."

lolololol....

lesser fantasy players are about Warren Coolidge's 4th and 5th running backs..

I can honestly say I have never in all my years of fantasy football ever seen owners of other teams google search info on bench players on other people's teams..

the shit is amusing...yet really weird at the same time.

the Lions have 1 RB who is a proven efficient goal line RB....

the Lions have 1 RB who NOT either a skinny legged scat back who is more of a WR...or a smaller change of pace back...

and that guy is now my 6th running back...

Knowshon Moreno RB-DEN
8/28, 11:14 am

Moreno has been getting some reps with the first team offense due to his far superior pass blocking over Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman, ESPN reports.

Analysis: While being able to get as many yards per carry is important for any running back, the Broncos are clearly putting a premium on their backs' abilities to keep quarterback Peyton Manning from getting hit. In that respect, Moreno is the leader over Hillman and Ball, both of whom are struggling with pass blocking schemes. They are both better offensive weapons than Moreno, but if he maintains his lead in keeping Manning clean, he could certainly grab some early-down touches from the other two.

Leshoure is being promoted as 2013's biggest TouchDown Vulture RB....

I'll take that as a 6th RB who is the 3rd RB behind a fragile reggie bush who doesn't run between the tackles and an unproven smaller change of pace like joique bell...

but again...thanks for all the attention you are paying to my 6th RB..

a look at your roster shows that it needs some attention too...lol.

Meanwhile in things that actually happened, Ronnie Hillman played in the meaningless 4th preseason game, locking up his position as No. 3 RB. And you STILL wont put your money where your mouth is.

and have read every camp report...

Isiah Pead was outplayed by both Zac Stacy and Bennie Cunningham...

he's not an every down back...he runs tentative as a kick returner, and Darryl Richardson is a better RB having proved it in NFL games..

the only reason Pead will make the team is because they drafted him fairly high, and if Richardson is the lead back, then Pead would actually be the only pure 3rd down back outside of D.Rich..

if its based on who played better..and who is showing to be a better back moving forward he would be cut.

I don't need rotoworld for that shit..lol.

and I dont even have a dog in this fight, but I did see this today:

Don't let Denver's depth chart fool you
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(8/31/2013) The Broncos' initial depth chart came out Saturday following their team's final round of cuts. On it, Ronnie Hillman was atop the list for running backs.
Don't buy it.

For starters, Hillman hasn't been any better than any other back on the roster. Some would say he's been worse because he fumbled three times over preseason action. Teammates Montee Ball and Knowshon Moreno haven't been as turnover prone and in the case of Ball the stats are similar.

Broncos coach John Fox loves to use more than one back and that's what's going to happen in Denver. Ball and Hillman might rotate series while Moreno works in the hurry-up offense. That's a realistic expectation to begin the season but once Hillman shows his buttery hands Ball could wrestle the job away. That could happen sooner than later.

I'll still take Hillman ahead of Moreno because he's younger, healthier and could play more this year (Moreno's knees are a constant concern). But Ball's ahead of both. I like Ball with a Round 5-6 pick, Hillman about two or three rounds later and Moreno just behind Hillman. I also wouldn't go crazy starting any of these guys Week 1 against the Ravens.

Some of us gon' end up hot.....

it would be completely foolish to expect to draft a starting RB in this year's draft in the 10 round..

the 10th round is a round where guys who didn't prep for the draft pick up guys like Isiah Pead who shouldn't even be on their draft boards...

lolol..

on their teams..

You draft back ups for guys who do not share carries....in hopes those guys get hurts..

I tend to avoid those players...because for the most part they are not likely to play....

rather than take chances that some other guy will get hurt......I take a chance on a guy who is going to get touches from jump, and has a chance to get more touches because of his play...not because some other guy gets hurt...

and I don't feel you are anyone else in this league are in a position to question my strategies because....well...I know I'm better at this shit than all you's....lolol...

but I don't..

lol..

people have been projecting all sorts of shit about Hillman...he fumbled in the pre-season even though he ran well...

but he continues to top their depth chart....

Peyton likes his efforts blocking in the pass....that alone is gonna keep him on the field....

and as the starter...regardless of whether or not they are gonna roll with a committee..he has a chance to take the lead in the committee... a more immediate and far better chance than the 3rd string backs on ern's roster..or honestly ..most of the back on YOUR roster....

committee or no committee his playing time will be determined by how he takes advantage of the opportunity as Denver's STARTING Rb....i'd much much rather have that guy than a guy who will only get the chance that Hillman has now if a much better starter gets hurt ahead of him...

the only player drafted after Hillman who could even reomotely be called a "starting" RB is Green-Ellis who being called a "starter" at this point is more than a stretch(plus I already had Dalton so getting BJGE would have been pointless)

anyways...I drafted the last "starter" in this past draft...

he'll get a chance to increase his touches because he's going to be on the field playing from jump....not sitting in hopes the better RB ahead of him gets hurt..

I'll take that all day..

I would suggest you focus more on your roster because it simply is not playoff worthy from my perspective..

it deserves your attention.

and although I would still HIGHLY recommend you taking notes as to How a superior fantasy owner like Warren Coolidge manages his roster, you should take those notes in silence as your continuous jocking is distracting you from the potent strategies you should be studying.

being a "rival" connotes a level of mutual smack talking and at least on a minimum both sides believing the other is a challenge..

I do not have that belief regarding anyone in this league, so the term "rival" I don't think applies..

What I do have is a bunch of very strange grown men who are honestly obsessed with the macinations of a Warren Coolidge managed fantasy squad. Guys who lurk ..even on weekends when most of us are doing like "normal" things...but guys who lurk and look for the most insignificant information about fantasy players who are are the furthers nether-regions of my bench....they run to the board to post this information...

it all comes across as not only strange..but coming from a very insecure place, particularly when you take a gander at their rosters.

it's all very strange...but "rivals"?? no...

FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo suggests Knowshon Moreno could be the Broncos' starting tailback Thursday night versus Baltimore.
Garafolo has spoken to "sources" who say Moreno, Montee Ball, and listed starter Ronnie Hillman will play in a three-headed committee against the Ravens, but Moreno "could be the starter" and "play the most." Moreno is Denver's best pass-protecting back, an attribute needed versus imposing Baltimore edge pass rushers Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil. The Broncos' backfield remains one to avoid in fantasy lineups until we get some playing-time and role clarity. Moreno and Ball are roll-of-the-dice flex plays in Week 1. Hillman is barely roster worthy in 10- and 12-team fantasy leagues.

you obsessing over my 5th and 6th string RBs ain't diverting anyone's attention from how horrible your team is currently on paper.....

you obviously don't know what you're doing as you have dropped and picked up the same guy 4 times before 1 down of regular season football is played....

go google these nutz on the net and post em....lol..

lolol... You desperate as fukk...hoping Knowshawn Moreno gets the start because right now you got Ben Tate in your line up for this week behind a healthy Arian Foster...

lolol...that's just horrible drafting to leave yourself in that type of position....horrible.

lol @ "on paper". But no, this Broncos RB situation is always one of the top stories. And it's always hilarious. Always. And he's your 4th RB. Another lie.

STOP LYING!

zero chance I would start Moreno this week. Tate's a top 25 play in Week One though. Guarantee he outscores Deangelo.

Well losing your fifth round pick to injury doesnt help. I'll be sure to remind you of that once Murray/Andre/Deangelo or one of your other old ass players inevitably go down. Or once you drop your unrosterable fifth round pick.

WEEK 1 PREVIEW: TUESDAY EDITION

TheProfessionals Opens Season Against One Sixteen
Updated: Tuesday September 03, 2013 2:26:38 PM EDT

TheProfessionals kicks off their fantasy season by squaring off with One Sixteen. Initial projections have TheProfessionals winning this one by 26.28 points, 140.22 - 113.94.

TheProfessionals gets One Sixteen just once this season.

TheProfessionals has Eric Decker (19.40 projected points) playing on Thursday night, while all of the starters for One Sixteen are scheduled to play later in the week. All of the other matchups in the league also open on Thursday.

TheProfessionals has a healthy advantage at three positions, RB, TE, and WR. The largest margin is at WR, where they're projected to outscore One Sixteen 56.10 - 39.30. One Sixteen is tougher at K, where they should beat TheProfessionals 11.00 - 4.00. To increase the projected matchup difference, TheProfessionals might consider picking up Ryan Succop (13.00 projected points). To tighten the matchup projections, One Sixteen may consider picking up Jacoby Jones (18.20 projected points) and Justin Forsett (14.50 projected points).

The Detroit Lions don’t like to talk about the depth chart. Jim Schwartz doesn’t make the depth chart a point of discussion and the team’s website makes it very clearly that what is posted on the depth chart page is unofficial.

However unofficial it may be, a quick glance at the depth chart shows that it makes sense. So while it might not tell us everything, it tells us something.

A point of interest is that Mikel Leshoure, not Joique Bell is listed as the team’s number two running back behind Reggie Bush. That comes as a surprise considering Bell is more versatile and was much better in preseason play.

Wed, Sep 4 at 3:58pm

Bell is listed as third on the Lions' unofficial depth chart on the team's official site.

Analysis: A bit surprising to see Bell behind Mikel Leshoure after Leshoure's lackluster preseason contributions, but it is an unofficial depth chart at this point. The Lions could also employ a more specialized role for Reggie Bush's backups, with Leshoure used for power running sets and Bell used in a more traditional backup sense, letting Bush catch his breath for a play or two every now and again.
