man i fucking LOVED eddie jones but i'd cut his minutes for a rookie lebron in an instant. there's no question who was the more mature and better player coming out of HS. that's not an indicator of their long term status ... but in this case it played out that way.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

other than that ain't no way. Bron is the Baddest out of High school directly to the Pros player that I have seen in my lifetime.

that first game back in 03 against Sacremento is forever in my mind and what a display he put on even then?

it took Kobe 4 years before he got seasoned a bit, his game back then was as dry as his Afro. he had Potential and alot of upside, however he wasn't ready.

Bron on the other hand was stepping up to the challenge period.

can't nobody ever say that Bron ever was not good from the word jump.

lets see you play with Shaq, Nick Van Excel and Eddie Jones and you are essentially a role player off the bench.

nobody outside of Kobe Hats talk about being on the all star team his 2nd year, most remember those airballs in Utah.

One was drafted 13th and never thought to be a star out of the gate.

So, no...but let's not act like they were thought of in the same way on draft night.

KG was the year before, so he had yet to establish himself, so the jury was still out on HS to pro transitions.

If the 96 draft class was transported to 2003, Kobe probably goes 3rd, after AI and Camby.

If the 03 draft class was transported to 1996, Bron might have still gone first, and wouldn't have slipped out of the top 5, but he's not the same lock that he was in 03.

by now. Kobe needed time and a half to get it together.

funny how Bron took Mike DOO Brown to the show and Kobe barely got out of the first round with that peanut head turkey.

and Kobe had more stacked like he was at I Hop.

Did Kobe leave LA?

GOAT wouldn't go play with two all-stars from the same draft class in their prime.

Would GOAT pose for pictures during the season and quit when it counted?

Would Lebron hoe Jordan and Pippen's Bulls?

Fuck Lebronon as a region.

because Kobe is such a hater he can't play with fellow all stars and oh yeah acting like bringing in Nash and Dwight ain't a version of the Big 3???

it didn't work.

and Kobe while an alll time great, would be like Vince Carter without having played with Prime and Peak Shaq and especially having a coach like Phil Jackson.

because Kobe despite his talents and skill set, really wouldn't be much further along than Vince Carter,Iverson, and T Mac without a Phil Jackson coaching his talents.

and believe me with Bron's skill set and Phil's and tex winter's triangle oh Lawd don't make me go there. please don't

Steve Nash is done. D-Ho was injured and is clearly not built for the pressure that comes with playing in LA. Let's not forget that KOBE IS 34 YEARS OLD. He's played longer than Jordan already against toughter competition at his age. GTFOH. If Kobe pulled this stunt in his prime, Lebronon's Philadelphia embassy would be mad forever.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

This nigga said GOAT wouldn't be farther along than AI, VC, or T-Bac. None of those bums worked at their game as much as GOAT. Especially AI's drunk ass. You messed up bringing AI's name up.
>
>and believe me with Bron's skill set and Phil's and tex
>winter's triangle oh Lawd don't make me go there. please
>don't

By all means go there. I'm just pointing out that GOAT dragged a player that couldn't win a playoff game without him AND a player who can't stay healthy at all to two NBA championships. GOAT's two peat was the result of great coaching. That team wasn't stacked as there were far more talented teams.

kobe personally co signed all them cats.

and jordan was in the finals during his mid 30's while kobe the last two years been home in time to go fishing and have a nice long memorial day weeekend.

yeah i said AI because he had pookie snow and Uncle Woody Anderson Tyrone Hill as his sidekicks. they got Raja Bell off the graveyard crew from denny's for that finals run.

please tell me what tough teams the lakers went through during kobe's last real run?

the thunder were puppys, the spurs were dead men walking, and please don't say houston or new orleans were legit threats.

now when Shaq was running th lakers the ole jazz, the spurs, the blazers and the kings were stacked. when kobe was a puppy that was something to go through.

them two times kobe dealt with the celtics he looked against them like he did against the pistons, ashy, busted and lost. he got lucky in 10. his game 7 was brutal.

they beat orlando.

however we don't talk about the kobe years post Shaq and no Phil, because that Kobe is in Steve Smith territory with more points, however an early vacation.

Scottie Pippen wants a word with you. Old Kobe easily surpasses Old Jordan. I'm talking Jordan on the Wizards at this point because Jordan retired before the competition heated up.

This was due to Philly's inability to surround him with talent. Plus, no one wanted to play with a ball hog like AI.

Go check the history books nigga. If you watched the games then you'd know who they beat. Stop playing stupid.

The Spurs are a tough so shut up. I can't believe you're discounting Pop. He's the third greatest coach in league history and you act like his teams are bums. The thunder aren't bums either.

Kobe has more rings without Shaq. You troll these posts for fun knowing you wrong. That shits on all of your arguments. You also said Mookie Blaylock could've won a chip with Shaq. Penny was better than Mookie and Steve Smith by a mile so where's his chip?

i know Pop is arguably the 4th greatest coach ever behind Phil, Red and Pat. however them spurs 08-11 were looking old, dried and tired.

i mean when they reached out for Richard Jefferson you know it was desperate times.

the thunder were younger in 08-10 the past 2 years the thunder went next level.

Kobe's 3 run from 08-10 compared to Shaq's run of 99-02 isn't even in the same league.

the Shaq lead Lakers had a team like the spurs you had to deal with, the blazers and Kings. any of those teams would have beat the Kobe/Gasol era lakers IMO.

Jordan was about 58 with the wizards ok. i'm talking his mid 30's run where he 3 peated the 2nd time. Kobe wasn't seeing that.

ROdman was a PF. who did the Bulls have as a center seeing Dwight Howard? Crickets on that one turkey.

only reason why Scottie would pick Kobe over Jordan is because Scottie had to play the Dean Martin Jordan's Sinatra.

everybody knows that.

and Kobe's run with Gasol was solid in the regular season and part of the post season, however Kobe stanked in the finals both times against the celtics. got lucky that last time.

tht orlando series was the lakers to win or lose basically.
