But play for play? Horry had that DGAF mentality at the end of games, absolutely, but overall Battier is a very proficient shooter in his own right, can do more than just shoot on the perimeter and is a much better defensive player.

Nobody was beating any of those sorry ass teams doors down to add Battier as the championship piece. Is he good on the court? Yes! Is he great in the locker room and in front of a microphone? Yes! If he went down, would the heat still play good defense and have one of their other interchangable pieces knocking down threes? Yup.
