He kinda has this aura like he's actually good, but he's sooooo bad on offense and sooooo good on defense. A guard that awful on offense being a household name is sorta hate worthy

I was obviously young, but my first tourney I watched was the 1991 tournament. Although most of my memories of it come from rewatching most of those games years later, I still remember the Grant Hill alley-oop in the title game as the play that made me want to play basketball.
I remember wearing a Duke shirt to school the Monday after The Shot the next year and other kids giving me shit all day. So I've been acutely aware of Laettner hate for literally my entire life.
