Not that they're going to make major moves with the scholly hit, but this year they can do some damage and try to raise public profile even higher.

Saint Mary's will still be allowed to participate in its conference tournament and the NCAA tournament, but can't play in preseason or in-season tournaments.

it will hurt a great deal.

I can't remember a non-major getting hit this hard.

This puts the clamps on their international pipeline or at least slows it tremendously.

IMO losing 2 scholarships/year is a big deal for a program of that magnitude.
