Only his fourth year in the league, never played college ball. He's no Stephen or Kyrie from 3, but he's a good shooter from beyond the arc-- oddly close to being better from 3 than from 2. Assist numbers slowly improving.
It's more his age than anything else that gives me hope that on the right club he can thrive. He got better and more efficient when Monta joined the team-- imagine a roster full of legit scoring threats like the Lakers usually have.
Of course, I still think Kyrie's likely leaving Cleveland, and obviously both Laker fans and I would prefer to see that happen. But Jennings is no slouch with plenty of room for growth-- watching him on a D'Antoni team could play to his strengths as well.

was kind of confused reading that because Longo is a self proclaimed stat geek and jennings efficiency numbers are below PG league avg damn near across the board (note who is at the bottom of this ranking: http://tinyurl.com/cmj92xb ) then i read your reply and it made more sense...

If Jennings was 28 or 29, I'd have sold all my stock already. But at his age, continuing to slowly come along, and potentially leaving his team for a squad with some real co-stars?

And that's the problem. They have nothing to offer so Brandon will basically have to sign a one or two year deal with Milwaukee so he can bolt via free agency.

The Mavericks have a "level of interest" in acquiring Brandon Jennings, sources told ESPN's Marc Stein.
Jennings will be a restricted free agent after the season and Bucks GM John Hammond has stated previously that he has no desire to trade the point guard, and it's worth noting the Bucks haven't expressed a desire to move him to date. The Mavs don't have much that would entice the Bucks in a trade, and any possible trade between the two clubs would likely have to include Drew Gooden's unsightly contract. We feel inclined to point out that the Mavericks should be interested in just about any point guard who might be available given the production they've received from that position this season.
