because voters vote on hype/exposure. that's how.
it has nothing to do with him being on my team. shit, do some research and you'll see i accepted my L on Wilson long ago because I was totally team Flynn. it has to do with making the right decision and RW3 should have been offensive ROY.
look at the stats and RG3 was BARELY ahead of him in yards, completion pct, ypa, rating, etc. it was basically a push despite RW3 having the reigns on him for 5 games.

so yes, if voters considered none of what i mentioned when the stats are basically even then they must have voted off hype. that's really the only logical explanation for such a landslide vote.

if that's what you're saying, cool, but i'd disagree.
i'm not saying RG3 isn't deserving of the award, but based on what ******I****** see, that award should have fairly went to Wilson. shit, even Luck has a more impressive argument for it in my book just because he took the shit-show that was Indy to the playoffs.

that is clearly to RG3's favor, since Seattle was and is the better overall team. it *was* impressive that Wilson won the starting job, as a third-rounder against the team's biggest FA acquisition (although Schneider and Carroll seem pretty open to having the best man play, regardless of status).
but once the season started, Wilson had the advantage of a better supporting cast (defense included).
and while Russ is still my dude in the QB Agenda Wars, at least Seattle was a team that had seen the playoffs in recent years (embarrassing a very good team in that appearance as well)
