The Blazers ain't even in the playoff and dude is having a lukewarm season. He isn't even the go to guy on his team, Lillard/Worldwide Wes/Batum are the crunch time players. Stephen Curry should be MAD. Fat Gasol better. On the other hand, LMAO @ Brooklyn: 3 max players and nothing to show for it.

I agree that he's having a lukewarm season by his standards with regards to shooting the ball, but he's one of the best players in the league. Coaches know.

Steph Curry definitely got snubbed. It'd've been nice for Big Al to have made it, but there's only so many spots. Marc Gasol deserves it too... A lot of guys do.

But LaMarcus Aldridge definitely deserves to be there.

He was hurt for being on teams that weren't very good. Aldridge falls under that same category. He's the only questionable reserve out of all of them.

Say what you want about who you think deserves to be on the team, but to suggest that LMA does not belong on the team is wrong.

He's in the top 10 in the league in scoring and top 20 in rebounds, and is the anchor and best player on a team that is in the playoff hunt despite predictions that had them in the bottom of the conference.

Moreover, his efficiency rating--even though it's lower than it's been in years--is still ahead of Lee, Randolph, and Gasol.

The coaches knew what they were doing when they voted LMA in.

Also... Elton Brand was always on losing teams (with the exception of his All-star year with LAC). This is the 5th or 6th straight year that Aldridge's team has been at or above .500 when the selections were made.

Just because you don't think LMA is very good doesn't mean you're right.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Deng is a huge part of that, and people recognize and appreciate that fact.

28. "true, but you know curry only got votes for the wildcard spot"
In response to Reply # 12

he wasn't getting any of the guard nods over Westbrook or Harden.
San antonio deserves 2 allstars so now you are banking on the majority of coaches voting for both wildcards to be filled with guards spots.

Curry IS having an allstar caliber season just at a talent heavy position.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

In response to Reply # 0

nets probably got 'hurt' by not having one true leader/best player.

Dwillz is the general, joejohnson is the guy with the ball in the waning moments and brook has been their most consistent player all year.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I would only have chosen one out of the Deng/Noah combo... but both of them are deserving, too.

Oh well. there's only so many slots.

Maybe Brook over Paul George?
