I want every bit of ugly from that Boston crowd. Nothing worse than your team going into a division rival's crib and a) there are empty seats (I'm looking at you, Philadelphia) or b)no one gives a shit.

throw cheerios at melo. bring boxes. signs w/ LaLa. Whatever. Nothing like feeling the hate through the TV.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

but either way, they earned a couple spots just like Thibs earns his money every year.

And while I'm here, congrats to Jrue The Damaja on his first of hopefully many All-Star selections to come at the tender age of 22.

Pretty much the lone bright spot in a fairly dark season.

and even around 25 & 7.5 as a rookie.

but yeah, Damaja has been a nice surprise, that coupled with them not having really any long contracts except him and their only other somewhat quality player (Thad) has me slightly hopeful.

There's even talk of Dr. Cornel Rest debuting in the lineup right after the All-Star-Break.

Not putting much stock in that last part yet.

I get that D12 got voted in, but to have 2 Lakers on the team is nuts and Kobe is having a good year.

D12 will probably sit out for it anyway, which would make room for Curry.

Noah and Deng---Congrats...Them boys got heart....

Would have been cool to see Boozer on there...He's been KILLING IT....

And Kenny hit on the head about the Nets...The coaches were hating after what went down with Avery (who btw did deserve to get clipped)...Brook Lopez deserves to be on this team...It's just that simple...Forget his offense (he's doing his usual thing there)...It's his defense that has been the most impressive about dude...He should take Bosh's spot...

And no Curry? Really?

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Been starting games notoriously slow lately
Stat has been efficient on offense lately

The D has slipped regardless of who is in
Amar'e is the only Knick left on the roster that hasn't started a game yet

Nice pull-up jumper, great pass from Melo for a 3, and then a pull-up three. Nicely done, but they are getting killed in this zone.

To start the 2nd half

Lets just start the 3rd qrt the same way we started the 1st, especially with Melo cold

No one to consistently create shots cept Melo
Too early back from injury to rely on Shump to be the 2nd option out there

Lets keep Amar'e on the bench and struggle though

Nets are 10 games over .500, he missed 7 games, they are 13 games over .500 when he plays, they have one of the top scoring defenses in the league and he's been more physical on d and a great shot blocker. Highly efficient scorer, 3rd in the league in PER behind Bron and Kobe. This is a real joke that a 26-16 record gets nobody in...

The Bulls are having a good year, but for them to get 2 and the Nets get 0 is just bullshit...

it's reall kg's fault, if rules were the same as they used to be, Chandler or Noah get voted in as starting C and Lopez takes KG's spot

Lopez also more deserving then Bosh, Lopez is doubled constantly while Bosh gets wide open 8 footers and lay ups

He is the top centre in the game this season by far. The Nets still getting no respect but maybe they can use it to their advantage and get some important rest.

Since our putrid December when Avery got fired we have improved hugely. D-Will is almost back to a decent standard of play for him and Joe Johnson is now scoring more reliably while being very effective at the end of games. I fear that both our starting guards are playing too many minutes.

I don't think it's enough to fine someone after the game upon further review. They need to be able to make some of these calls real-time, because that was an important play, drawing that offensive foul on Melo.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I missed most of the game traveling, just caught the last few. way to go up there, avoid the fuckshit, and shut em down late.

felton/shump/jr if they do it right, should be defense to offense demons.

bench unit: Pablo, Kidd, Novak, JR, Copeland, and 120 years worth of big men. Ronnie Brewer. James White.

if JR is having a 1-9, if Novak can't get his shot off, that bench can't score.

2 of the old dudes are out, one about 3 weeks, the other lord knows when.

unless u wanna run the stat or melo into the ground so there's a frontcourt scorer in the game at all times.

after like 3-5 mins depending on his impact and then put him back in when Melo done with his lot of minutes
we need the low post option out there

we aren't going to hit 88% from 3 anymore
that style of play has been figured out

Amar'e need to be in there

its time to get our starting 5 acclimated to one another again. Melo play the whole 1st qtr anyway so you can have amare play half of that. Bring him back early 2nd qtr. Its not that hard.

no one is saying run amare and melo the whole 1st qtr.

Amare ain't playing 30 mins yet so maybe woody is waitng for that..idk, one doesn't really have anything to do with the other.

I don't think Woodson is worried about Amar'e and Carmello and instead is trying to mesh Amar'e and Chandler together in the high and low blocks. Last night was the first time I've seen Woodson play Amar'e and Chandler for extended minutes and to an extent, they didn't get in each others way. Carmello is talented enough offensively so I don't think his game will suffer to much if Amar'e starts; both Chandler and STAT are limited in how they play offensively and poor spacing can muddle how the both of them operate offensively and in terms of getting rebounds. I think that's where Woodson's head is at right now in addition to trying to work Amar'e back into tip top physical shape.

wanting to keep amare on the bench to boost the 2nd unit offensively.

honestly, i'm not worried about melo/amare or amare/chandler meshing at all. If we have a good pg, everyone will eat. I honestly don't think woodson worries about them meshing together either.

when lin was running point last year that small stretch when everyone was healthy, we were fine. As long as felton chills on the gunning(hopefully he won't feel the need to) our frontcourt will be good.

97. "the playoffs are in may"
In response to Reply # 92

this is February, if you will.

I'd still put out kidd/felt/shump/melo/chandler in a playoff series.

starting is overrated. jr finishes games. stat can finish games. I'd love stat as the crunch time center, but he doesn't defend or rebound well enough.

the spacing with stat and tyson is problematic for melo on the wing. cause he's gonna drive and find both of their defenders at the rim, cause both of them are gonna be around the rim.

no one wants the 60m frontcourt to work more than me. I just don't believe in square pegs in round holes. And that second unit. yikes.

and to the idea that stat comes out after 3-5 mins..what if he's cookin? can't sit him. But the longer you play him, more you got to rest him 2-3rd if you want him back in the 4th.

they want to open his limits, and the kidd going to the bench thing is the hint that woody probably wants to start him.

eyes. back. knees. maaaan let him put in work against the second units, close out games, and go full throttle in april/may.

y'all remember when mcdyess was coming off a knee, was getting busy in a preseason game, and broke his kneecap?

Marv sounded like he was courtside with a bowl and some milk

but it come off to me like the BOS crowd knew KG was in the wrong

and probably aren't going to put themselves out there to defend his on court antics

they've seen this show before

plus, they're losing, so there's that
