1. "Our second toughest conference game of the season." In response to Reply # 0
First toughest was at State. Just a dreadful matchup. Surprised we did as well as we did without the Kraken or without Curry for the last few minutes.
Taking on Miami at Miami is gonna be tough as hell without Kelly as well. These are the two teams we really needed his size for if we wanted a clear advantage on the road. Gonna be a tough tough win if we can get it. Amile Jefferson needs to stay on the floor-- he's been getting a real trial-by-fire with these heavy minutes in tough games early on, but he's been responding well.
Luckily the season gets easier from here. Obviously UNC will bring their A-game, and we have Maryland in College Park after V-Day, but I'm hopeful Kelly can be back by then so that that game won't be a concern.
But if we can keep winning without the Kraken? It'd be golden. K seemed to indicate things were going well for a return sooner than he initially though, which is great.
