liability? He'd be the GOAT hands down if he never had to worry about being hit, but that's not the reality of playing QB in the NFL. He's always looked a lot more human in the playoffs than he does in the regular season. I hesitate to give him the "choker" tag, but I think his shaky playoff performances would suggest he's taking on too much. I'm not even going to bring up the fact that he has a little brother named Elisha who has won more rings with lesser teams.
I'm not the best guy to discuss this but I put it out there because I wanted to see it discussed. Maybe it was discussed in another post, if so link me to it and lock this one.

He was playing fine before that.

And the only thing Eli is better at is having
bad body language.

Did you see that last pick he threw? Pretty inexplicable for a guy with the offensive smarts that Peyton has. And that's not the only terrible mistake he made that game. He's taking on too much.

And really though, the 4 wins he got in the championship season ALL chapped my hide. KC (running wide on Indy's small front instead of jamming Larry Johnson up the middle), Baltimore (the defense gave McNair the ball on the 50 like 3 times and between him and bad playcalling, they got 3s that shoulda been 6s), NE (the pass droppathon that made the Pats go get Moss and Welker), and Chicago (Rex Grossman fumbling things away after Thomas Jones had 90+ yards rushing at the half).

He has made several 'lesser stature QBs would get killed for that throw' throws in his time...a pick six to seal a Super Bowl loss? Really? A cross-body Favre-like pick after having wobblers for half the afternoon? What if that was Sanchize? Or Romo? My dog Vick? McNabb? Rivers? Eli? It would've been curtains.

And yeah...in the playoffs, you gotta have an OC helping you out with the calls. Sometimes you need to CALL THE RIGHT PLAY FROM THE HUDDLE. Aka it can't be you at the line trying to run your whole offense all the time like a kid on Madden.
